    • This is an informative and beautiful website. It's a pity, but photographs of sunrises, sunsets, and clouds are ubiquititous and vague with regard to location. However, photographs on the bluff of The Vanderbilt Mansion during each of the Mid-Hudson Valley's four seasons, guarantee no one seeing the results could/would mistake the image for any place else. The Mid-Hudson Valley remains extraordinary by its history and landscape.

    • "Thank You" so much for taking these photos of Upstate New York! My husband grew up in that area. Unfortunately, his memories of the people aren't as inviting as what he remembers the scenery to be like. He has often said how beautiful it is up there and tranquil (as far as the beauty of nature). He hasn't been back home in about 13 years. When I came across these pics, I was so pleased that I could find a bit of "home" for him!!! Thanx Again :)

    • Was feeling kind of homesick for New York, especially since it has reached the 100 degrees plus mark here in Texas. Your photos made me feel right at home. I once lived a few miles (very close to the vicinity of your photos) where the Hudson River photos were taken. The photos were great......keep taking more of them because they are appreciated by us former Native New Yorkers. It is at least 105 degrees now in Texas, so I can appreciate and miss the New York change in seasons more than ever before. Yes, New York truly is beautiful!

    • Really enjoyed your photos. Reason: I'm sitting here in Tver, Russia - been here 5 years. But, I was born and raised in Poughkeepsie, so I appreciated seeing some photos of my old stomping grounds. My brother lives only a mile or so from the Inn at the Falls. neil@online.tver.ru
