Hi Michel, Fantastic album. The slideshow locked up loading, so I couldn't use it. I know Webshots is still having a lot of problems with the feature. This album has more photos than any other that I have viewed. I am wondering if the Webshots slideshow software can handle the quantity. I will try again on my next visit. Rick

My family and I spent a weekend in Quebec city and stayed at the Chateau Frontenac...those pics are magical! Thank you for signing my guestbook Sunday (12/20/04) when Webshots featured my - It Is All Good - album. Webshots has certainly grown up since I first joined this site back in 2000. It has become such an international site. It is wonderful. Who signed my guestbook: 3 from Australia, 3 from England, 2 from the Netherlands, 2 from Italy, 4 from Canada, 2 from Finland, , 1 from Japan, Lebanon, Belgium, Malasia, Germany, and Madrid, 14 from the USA (2 of whom are my home town and I do not know them), 2 who have been so many places I could not tell where they were from and one complete mystery person Pierre. I would like to venture out into the world. So if any of you want to do some emailing for a while to swap information about our cultures, I would really be interested in that. Michel...this album is wonderful. I know it was featured, but you have added more and your photos are beautiful. I have several of these downloaded into my screensaver. I love the Mill and the lighthouses. I think my favourite is the church with the lightpost at nighttime...#45. Its beautiful. I also like very much, #6, 8, 14, 19, 36 is beautiful too, #38, 39, 44, 48, 50, #'s 55, 56 & 57 are spectacular; I like #60 too, #66 and all of your airplane shots. The Chateau Frontenac(?) is awesome..another favourite. I like the ship at night and #'s 77, 78, 79 and 80 are very pretty with the bright lights at night. I also like #93 and 96 and the spectacular effects you have of the sillouette of the statue in #98 and 99. The whole album is very precious and a tribute to your photography. Bonjour Michel. Je viens de visionner ton album et je constate que tu nous sers la crème de la crème. C'est une très belle collection de photos plus attrayantes les unes que les autres. Maintenant que l'hiver est arrivé, j'ai plus de temps à passer sur l'Internet à profiter de ces belles occasions, comme ce matin. Il y a tellement de belles photos que j'ai de la difficulté à arrêter mon choix. Tu as des paysages extraordinaires et une grande variété de sujets. Je voulais cependant te faire part de mes commentaires sur quelques unes qui m'ont particulièrement impressionné, sans pour autant que cela ait l'air d'une analyse exhaustive de ton travail. Je ne suis pas un expert et je n'ai pas la prétention de pouvoir faire une critique valable. Je ne fais que souligner quelques sujets parmi plusieurs. La photo 4, le petit mésange, est vraiment jolie et particulièrement bien réussie. La photo 8 m'impressionne, le mot est juste, car elle me rappelle le traitement de l'image par les peintres impressionnistes de l'époque. Très belle composition. La photo 12, les deux papillons est ce qui me semble la plus difficile à réaliser. Je la trouve épatante. La photo 14, du Rocher Percé, est d'une composition unique. Prise de vue que je n'ai jamais vu ailleurs. La photo 22, du pont couvert offre une vraiment belle composition et les couleurs pastel sont très belles. La photo 50, le pont de Québec et le voilier est très attrayante et l'ambiance bien rendue. La photo 58, la petite cabane au toit rouge, est d'une très belle composition. enfin, 90 et 94, pour les couleurs et leur composition. Bravo pour cette belle collection et continues à nous faire jouir de ton talent. Et félicitations en retard pour avoir vu ton album "featured&qu ot; en juin, ce que j'avais malheureusement manqué à ce moment-là. Bravo encore une fois. Raynald

Beautiful photos. Thank you for your comments. I still use a Nikon 990, but the battery case clip is bent, and I think I am going to have to get a new point and shoot dig camera. For other photos we use a D 100 Nikon, but I like a smaller camera when I am traveling. Marsha

Salut Michel ! Bien content de voir que tu as répondu, et que tu as vu mes photos. Tu comprends pourquoi j'ai écrit tous les titres en anglais, avec un peu de français. Ça facilite la recherche d'image. Si tu écris; levis, quebec, canada, et bien la recherche va me montrer presque toutes mes images. Ça fait à peine quelques jours que mes photos sont disponibles, et j'adore ça. Comme j'utilise la formule des 3 albums gratuits, alors je me fait plus sélectif, mais hélas, j'ai construit mes albums dans le désordre. J'ai découvert que je m'étais inscrit 3 fois à cause de quelques problèmes. Alors je récupère ces erreurs pour aller ouvrir un autre bloc de 3 albums gratuits !!! Et peut-etre qu'il n'y a pas de vrai limite ? Alors il y a ruban114 et il y aura ruban115 116 etc... Bon. Pour le Cairn. warrior, je le localise sur un bout de route à mi-chemin entre La martre et Mont St-Pierre. Regarde bien sur le bord de la route. Il y a une prolifération de cairns sur une bonne longueur de route. Tu vas surement les remarquer. Mais ce n'est pas le temps idéal pour y aller, et puis le vent a du jeter à terre quelques morceaux. J'ai un appareil photo numérique sony 3,2 mégapixels, et pour mes très gros plans, je tiens devant l'objectif de mon appareil, un vieil objectif 50mm. C'est une loupe extraordinaire pour photographier les choses les plus petites. Les insect et le givre, tout est dans les détails, et ça prend ça. Pas besoin de microscope. Tu as du voir le drapeau américain sur le parlement canadien sur le 10 dollars. En 1989, ça avait fait une polémique cette histoire-là, mais c'est un ancien drapeau anglais, mais c'est quasiment prophétique... Je pense que George Bush est assez fou pour venir un jour nous l'imposer pour question de sécurité... Regarde, je pourrais te parler de bien des choses et de mes excursions dans le Maine et ailleurs. J'aime mieux correspondre sur Outlook que sur webshots, c'est plus commode. Je ne maitrise pas encore toutes les options du webshots. Tu m'écriras ton adresse internet. Je t'ai donné la mienne hier. En passant, j'ai 2 photos à moi sur le site; soleildujour.com Tu iras voir en archive les photos du 10 Décembre 2002 (Tadoussac) et surtout celle du 1' Avril 2002. C'est un magnifique coucher de soleil sous le pont de Québec, prise dans le petit parc près de l'usine de filtration d'eau de St-Romuald, le 20 Octobre 2001. C'est un scan coupé de cette photo. Le soleil se couche sur l'eau, c'est extraordinaire ! Donne-moi ton adresse et je vais t'envoyer un scan intégral non coupé. Salut !
