A less able photographer would have said there was too much dark cloud on the horizon, but you had the vision to turn them to your advantage, and make even them look beautiful. Hi Em, It was so good to hear from you and thank you so much for your kind comments on my new albums. This album is so beautiful. I love 1, 23, 24.....oh I love them all....lol. I bet that was a wonderful morning on the beach during sunrise. Seeing the ocean meet the sky during sunrise or sunset is such a spiritual emotion. Great job!!! We are all healing here over the loss of our little Dalton. It is starting to feel like a distant dream....like it never really happened. Then there are the moments when reality hits you in your gut and you relive the memories. Everyone is doing fine though except his mom and she is still not doing too well. She sleeps with his baby blanket every night and last week she asked my son for a divorce. So....I don't know how that is all going to turn out. Time will tell. Are you still painting? I hope so. I'm so into this photography that I haven't been doing anything else. Take care. God bless. Donna

The reflections(#32 and many more), the color of the sea and the clouds, the rays of sunlight(#18, 29), the bursting in sunlight sky (#40),the wonderful details, like the foam(#10), that fish-bone-stone or what-ever-that-is (#5), the amazing foamy Rainbow Rock(#25) and of course Marge Simpson (#20)!! Hello Em and greetings from Kentucky USA. This is a spectacular album of sunrise. Here is this area, from the west coast, I am somewhere around 3000 miles away from the ocean. From the east coast I am maybe 500 miles from the ocean, so for me to get a shot of the Ocean, I would have to drive many miles. The closes thing to a big body of water near me is the Ohio River. The time frame on this album is not very long, to frame so many wonderful shots. Em thanks very much for your visit, it is appreciated very much. Dear Em. You are simply extraordinary. You put under our eyes what's everyday experience. They're all beautiful photos: great captures of those melting nuances in the sky and in the sea. They're the capture, alltogether, of that unique moment that's the dawn. OK it's a beach of Australia (and I love everything of your Land), but let's be honest, it's not that much different from many other beaches in the world. What makes it unique is your graceful and irresistible invitation to walk calmly with you along that adorable beach of the lonely turtle, and throw looks to the waves'foam, to the lightening sea, to the turquise of the waves, and listen your suggestion that beauty is everywhere. Hi Em, What a marvelous album and so glad to see it was a featured one at that. I hope I am not repeating myself as I wrote and found out I was not logged in so it seemed to disappear. We are hoping our Mandarin duck will return when all the ducks return. He had a lady friend, a mallard, and we are wondering if they had babies what they would look like. I'll let you know if he comes back as he was way off course being native to Asia or Japan. Also I have family ties in Australia and have had the pleasure of having one visit us here. What a delight she was to meet. I also had a GGGrandfather who is buried in Ararrat. Well you take care and keep that camera clicking on that beautiful Aussie scenery. Janet/Maine

Hi Em, these photos are so beautiful!! I love them all. But #21, 31, 37 and 38 still a little bit more. My belated congratulations with the, well deserved, feature of this album. I am always thankful when I see a magnificent sunrise or sunset. I see it as a gift from heaven. I am sorry to hear that 2 of the white kittens are deaf. That often seems to happen with totally white cats. I learned that from a colleague of mine who also had white kittens of which one of them turned out to be deaf. Thanks for your nice comment in the album Flowers-my Garden. I did appreciate it very much.
