Hi Chris, I am impressed by these wonderful photos! It is not that easy to shot a flying bird, I know! It demands skill and patience! As for the quails I know that they are very shy! I like their nest which is decorated with colorful feathers and leaves - I've never seen a quails' nest before! Greetings from Vienna, Vera

Hi Chris and many thanks for your entry in my Chittering Valley guest book. That was one of those days when everything was just right for picture taking and it would have been a shame not to take advantage of it. All, is fine here, thanks and I trust you are getting used to - and enjoying - your new responsibilities at work. At least your holiday gets a little nearer every day! Best wishes, Peter

Hi Chris, thanks for being excited for me! :-) I am still shaking! They are doing wonderful in this new family! They are all very tired, but happy, even their dog is adjusting and getting her place in taking care of the new member. Thanks again! :-) Galit from Israel

Hi Chris, those birds are gorgeous, but for sure they make a lot of noise! How many of those guys do you have around? We had much smaller birds - but a lot, up to 40 birds - in a flat! They all had names. Then my son grew up and when he became a soldier the last birds found a new family. Maybe those wonderful memories let me always smile when I see those birds! :-) Your pictures are great. It sure is not easy to catch them in flight! And the chicks are so cute! You've made my day! Thanks for your generous compliments in my last two albums. I'm happy you liked my street cats in the April album. I invested a lot of energy to follow them. :-) Have a wonderful weekend, - Galit from Israel

Hi Chris, and thank you for bringing this album to my attention. Mandy has some nice birds, and you've taken some exceptional photos. Action shots with a digital camera aren't easy; you've done very well. As for the quail family, it's a lovely study. Keep up the good work, Keith in Sydney.

Hi Chris. We are lucky to have so many beautiful parrots but I think the King parrot is the most gorgous of them all. You were lucky to have a place where you got close up and personal. One of my near neighbours I'm told has agreat collection of parrots so perhaps I better see if I can get some photos. You did a good job with this album by the way. When you put out new stuff send me an invite. I think having twenty favourite users isn't enough, forty would be much better. Gotta go mate but happy clicking. Hugs Al.

Hello Chris, It appears you're not going to have any trouble in the future either, these are well taken. The quail, on the other hand are a nervous bunch anyway, you're quite lucky you got a clear shot of all. Out in the woods years ago, I sat down to have a drink of water and out between my boots came a very tiny baby quail. I didn't see ma around all and didn't hear any clucking of any sort. I put my hand out and the little chick walked right into it. This one was about as big as my thumb in height and very beautiful. I set him off into the brush and he blended in so well, didn't move either and when I looked back I couldn't see him at all. I left the area just in case mama came back. That's the only time that ever happen in my woods life. In your case, I wouldn't worry about shooting action shots. You're fine. Best regards from the Oregon Coast. Ron

Hi Chris. ... What an awesome collection, I enjoyed every shot. You have done a wonderful job to capturing them in flight, I'm sure it would have been hard inside a small cage with them buzzing around your head while you tried to take photos. :P ... All best, Brenda - NSW.

Hi Chris and very many thanks for the invite to view this album. My grandson was with me and his first comment was COOL!! Coming from him that is high praise, believe me and I echo that because I think you have done wonderfully well to capture these beautiful birds as you have. This is never an easy thing to do with a digital camera because of shutter lag but you have certainly managed it great. I also liked very much the quail. Excellent work - go to the top of the class! Cheers, Peter
