Hi again Angela and this is really to say thank you for your compliments on my Winter in Moore River and Guilderton album. We do have four seasons, you know!! It's just that we don't get your extremes. For example we have just had the wettest start to winter in 70+ years but, for all that, seldom get a day when the sun doesn't shine for at least part of the time - and we can usually be guaranted quite a few clear, mild days in even the most severe of winters. Sometimes my photographic instincts call out for some variety - mist or heavy cloud or a fierce storm, but we end up having to make the best of what we've got! But I bet you are hoping it's going to be nice up in the lakes next week all the same!! If I don't see you before then have a wonderful time and please convey my most cordial barks to Bailey. Love and hugs, Peter

I KNEW it wouldn't be long before there were a few more additions! It's good to see a white swan again - ours are all black as you probably know. And that ladybird is not the usual colour is it? Aren't they normally rather more reddish? And the bird feeding pic is gorgeous - I bet you had to use maximum zoom for that one! Cheers now, Peter

Hi Angela, I shouldn't be here as I am cutting the grass and tidying up before we go away but I noticed you had some new pictures amd just had to have a look WOW !! is all I can say I love those badgers they must really trust you to allow you that close but I think my favorite has to be the Roe. The way the trees frame the shot is wonderful. I see you are having fun with your insects too We can always try to help you identify them but I got one yesterday that we can't find in the book. Anyway back to the garden for me Take care Jill

You are dead right Angela, I DO like these additions. Superb photos of the Cardinal Beetle and you really are dazzling us with science (as young Ken has said) with those latin names. I always thought the badger was a shy creature but you have proved me wrong with a small series of great shots. Have I got time to grab a bite to eat before your next album????LOL Take care Peter

Another fascinating album Angela and, as always, your macro work is faultless. The rest of your work aint too bad either!! WOW, that hare is a monster - how come he just sat there and let you take his photo? The orange tip butterfly is a beauty - we don't get them out here. And even you were lost for words to title the last but one photo!! For that matter I couldn't come up with a suitable caption for it either! Great stuff once again. When are you going up to the lakes again? I am REALLY looking forward to those photos! Take care, Peter
