Hi Ken, I do not think I have viewed this album before, like the old willows as you would expect & those brickwork chimneys have pumped out some stuff in their time! half southern England is built with bricks from there. Many thanks for your two messages last night, I did it straight away & it has worked! I am just not as observant as you with the message boards, probably because I look at & post on so many (gardens, cruises etc as well as webshots) Milder weather forecast for the holidays, we are up north at daughters. thanks again. Eric

Wondewrful walk, thanks! I also stopped by etiswinford's page, and got a look at the albums. Great seeing the faces that go with the names, and I saw a spot where I may even send my kitty's picture too (grin). BTW..my cats' picture is on MY desktop to make ME look better...LOL! Hugs, -claudia

Good morning Ken. What a delightful walk you have so close to your home AND a pub to call in to quench your thirst on the way. Can't be bad. Who could ask for more? I want that pub sign, lol. Only kidding, but it's a good one. You have captured some beautiful sunsets. So we do get them here in England. I was begining to think they only got them in the USA and Australia. Thank you so much for signing my featured album. It came as a lovely surprise and I was overwhelmed with the response it got. It's going to take me a very long time to getting around to thanking everyone. I'm now on 150,000 views, 24,000 d/l's and almost 1000 g/b entries. I'm absolutely stunned!! Ken did you know that two of your albums are being shown in the community 'flower' albums? They're on page 24 if you weren't aware. To answer your question, what is my favourite colour rose, well it has to be white. The reason for this is that they were in my wedding bouquet. I only married 5 years ago, in Las Vegas with 'Elvis' and the memories I have of that day will be with me forever. Looking forward to seeing your holiday photos. Hope you have a wonderful time and welcome home. Have a great week. Cheers. Jayne xx

Hi Ken: Everybody is envious of you: such a beautiful place you live in! Your pictures give an excellent account of the variety of the land (and sea!) - you might open a hotel and would get lots of nature lovers!!! - Thank you for your GE in our "Insects and Spiders". Yes, you can begin seeing pics of our holidays... With best wishes: Kaethi and Henri

Beautiful walk in the English country. I never visited England outside cities, but I see it's well worth. Your sunsets (they're not dawns, are they?) are gorgeous. Thank you! Ale :-) from Italy

Hi Ken, what beautiful country you live in! It looks so peaceful and serene. Since I moved I dare not walk from my house any farther than the mailbox or there's a good chance I'll get run over by a semi going 60 miles an hour so I am more than a little envious. This album made me homesick for my real country home!! The sky pictures were gorgeous too, they are always a hit with me. Thank you for visiting my newest Lily album and I am so glad to know you will be stopping by again. Crossing my fingers on those blooms, one of my dogs really did a number on two of my beds and they have already fallen behind last years schedule so I'm a little worried. I will also be checking back in to see what you are up to! Take care, Jeanie

Hi Ken, the world is always fresh and clean after the rain, and your photos capture something of that sense. Your evening walk looks like a great way to end the day, especially if there's a drink at the end of it. Best wishes, Keith in Sydney.

Hi Ken and Carolyne, Thanks for you sweet comments about our boy. You are right aussies hang out for the rain and you guys love a bit of sun. I avoid the sun like the plague (sun burn = skin cancer here) What a lovely area you live in and how nice to go for an evening walk and stop for a pint on the way home. Although I adore our boy I miss going out once in a while just for a break . I'll keep coming back to your albums and pretend. It's almost as good and the scenery is gorgeous. thanks to you both, take care and I'll hear from you soon I hope. Chris Charlie and Jay

Good stuff Ken and you certainly live in a nice, flat part of the country. The Wash - is that THE Wash? You have some nice photos here old son, in particular that last shot - would there be any chance you could add a photo of the pub sign to this album? I would be very interested to see how they illustrate a name like that! I was looking at a local map to try to pinpoint where exactly you are but can't quite fathom it out. Mind you my map IS pretty ancient. Best wishes, Peter the QUIET Aussie!

Hi Ken. You live in a nice part of the country. I'd much rather live there than in the big smoke. Green grass, fresh air and big bulls if you don't look where you're going. lol. It's a good album mate and I particularly like your closing shot, the pub. Why am I not surprised?. LOL. Catch you later good buddy. Best wishes Al the noisy Aussie.
