Sharon - After you left your kind comments about my Ft.Worth Botanical Gardens album, I had to view yours. What wonderful photographs. I think the spring is beautiful in the gardens. However your fall botanical album that is so full of color tells me I must go back and do one of our gardens in the fall as well. Thank you for identifying the plants and trees. I believe you have given me the answer to what type of tree I photographed (crab tree). I knew it wasn't a cherry tree or cherry blossom. I will be bookmarking this id of yours as well and look forward to viewing all your other albums. If I ever travel to Missouri I would love to meet you and take a stroll through the gardens. BEAUTIFUL album Sharon!!! You really have a gift. Thanks for visiting my albums and for adding me to your favorites. It's truly an honor! I think I can learn so much from you!!! Yes, we live very close to Franklin. It's a small world, huh?! I agree there are many photo ops here, but my three little ones keep my busy. Perhaps this fall when school starts? Speaking of small worlds, we have very close friends that live in Lake St. Louis, MO. Next time we go visit them, I'll let you know. I didn't realize your grandson was a preemie. I pray he's doing well. I know what a struggle they sometimes have. I hope you have a WONDERFUL week next week with your daughter and grandbabies. That's always special time. Thanks again sweet Sharon. Take care and please keep in touch! Kris :)

Hi Sharon! Thanks for tiptoeing through 'my' tulips...and writing such a nice guestbook entry. Yes I have been back already to the Keukenhof It is a 40 minutes drive from my home. As I have a seasons card, valid for the 10 weeks it is open, I can go whenever the weather is OK and I do not have to work... The weather has been pretty lousy so far, with some highlights during the right time: weekend. Making an album takes a lot of time.. Like you, I make a lot of work of an album. Not like some people who drop the raw harvest of a trip into one album, and not even caring to remove the numbers... This garden of yours is it also only a Spring garden? The keukenhof is even closed the rest of the year.... Greetings Anna

Sharon, Hi again. Enjoyed reviewing your garden pics. I just returned from St L. (got home last night). I got to the gardens even though I didn't think I would. Your pics really do highlight the beauty of the garden. I will be posting a garden album, zoo album and general St. L album soon. Thanks for the inspirations for those upcoming albums. Garry

Hi Sharon, Thank you so much for all the nice notes that you have left in my guestbooks! This has been my busiest time of year for work, but all should start calming down for a while now. This is perfect, because I have SPRING FEVER!!! The temperatures are great here (mostly in the 70s) but not much rain so far...so who knows how the wildflower season will fare? But...I'm ready to start heading out on Fridays (my day off) to check things out! For now, I'll enjoy the beauty of your gardens here! These pictures are lovely! Thanks, as always, for sharing the beauty! God bless, Lynn

Sharon - When I got the message you live in St. Charles, I wanted to write you another note. My husband and I started out in St. Charles in 1991 when we first were married. After 3 years, we moved into St. Charles County, Old Hwy 94, then later to Wentzville. I know that area well. If you are ever up in the Twin Cities area, three nice gardens are Como Conservatory, of course, and Minnesota Landscape Arboretum in Chanhassen (much to the southwest of us). Then up north one hour is St. Cloud and the Munsinger/Clemens gardens - I think its a scaled down version of the Mo. Botanical Gardens, small but very lovely. They have a gorgeous rose garden as well. Also, I grew up in Missouri, my hometown being Moberly, Missouri which you may never have heard of, in the north central part of the state. Just another note, I will soon be a volunteer at Como Conservatory.

We now live in Minnesota, Twin Cities area. There are nice things here too, but I especially miss the beautiful Missouri redbuds in the spring!

Hi Sharon, I'm not sure why I'm looking at this magnificent springalbum while the winter is yet to come. Freud will probably have an answer to that. Anyway, I walked in that botanical gardens in the summertime and now in the springtime and it's really a pleasure to do so. I sure will visit your autumn and winter album of the gardens. Greetings, Tjebbe

Wow!!! These are gorgeous Sharon...love gazebos, the little bridge and the flowering trees as well. The yellow flowers are lovely as are all of the photos. To answer your question of my butterflies, yes, it is an indoor surrounding like a hothouse. They change them a lot and so I'll be taking more before they're gone in May. Just love butterflies. Your Botanical Gardens in Missouri are really gorgeous. Thanks for sharing your lovely photos. Sharon/Arizona

Bob and Sharon...I love the Zigzag bridge and the pansies and the path with the azaleas. The whole album is beautiful, as I have said before. You both take beautiful photos. I wanted you to know that I used some of your photos in my new cards albums, of course with your permission. I sent people a card telling them and it was your photo of the white and yellow daffodils that I like so much. Hi again Sharon! Not sure what you did here either but sure enjoyed going through this fabulous album again!!! Sharon if you ever see that I have deleted yours or Bob's names from my favorite members list DO NOT BE UPSET!!! I just accidentally did it and put you right back!!! I am ALWAYS clicking in the wrong spots.:-((( I can't believe you guys had a thunderstorm already! You couldn't pay me to live where there are tornadoes!!!! One of my brothers lives in Oklahoma and he is the Civil Defense warden in a small town so he has to stand watch and sound the siren. The only winds I want are the Chinooks!!! Seriously, you guys, your photos are spectacular and I am soooo very pleased that another of your wonderful albums was featured!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what's coming! Take care "Miss Younger Than Springtime"! Jane

I want cherry blossoms!!! We have pear, apple and peach and, maybe, some wild cherry. I'll have to keep my eyes open because your photos have made me mad for cherry blossoms :-)))) Exquisite photos! Bet you can't stay away from the gardens for long! I couldn't! We have weeping willows leafing out, tulip and magnolia trees in full bloom, and some fruit trees are already blossomed out! It's spring here! I gotta go for a walk in the neighborhood, snap, snap. Thanks Sharon, I LOVE birds! I agree, Mourning Doves sound and look beautiful! Here is the site with the Crater Lake Cam http://www.craterlakelodges.com/cratercam.htm if that doesn't work try typing in Crater Lake Cam and see what happens. It is sooooo cool to see what's going on up there every 15 mins. It shows the parking lot and the lake. There are cams all over the state of Oregon and Northern Cal. There's even a Mt. Shasta cam. Our colds are slowly getting better. It's some kind of weird cold that keeps re-infecting people after they get rid of it. So far we haven't completely gotten rid of it so it can't re-infect us! How's that for looking at the bright side! I'm not artistic either. I just smoosh and swirl! I bet it must be nesting season coming soon and that's why the birds are eating so much because ours are too! Have a fabulous day you guys! :-))) Jane

OOPS- I accidently bumped the send button. Now to finish what I was saying. I am learning from your photos how to take better photographs. Thank you for that. These gardens are a photographers heaven. God has given us such a gift in his flowers the cameras we have to take great pictures. Thanks for sharing your wonderful album. Jane

Sharon, These gardens are really spectacular the effect you capture makes one feel like they are actually taking the photos. The Linnean House reflections makes me want to dip my finger in the water. Great pics. Thanks for your comments in my Azalea album, you are right the gardens are gorgeous in fact they are one of my favourite places. I was at the gardens all day on Tuesday this week and will be going this afternoon for a couple of hours (or maybe three or four LOL.)Speak to you later Sharon. Kindest regards./Elaine.

Hi Sharon, Great photos. I love spring flowers. You asked about the location of McDonnell Park. It's located at the intersection of Link and Adie Road in St. Ann, Mo. Thats near Midland and Lindberg. It's a beautiful park with a nice walking trail that circles 1.33 around the park. Lots of wild animals, rabbits, squirrels, opossums, raccons, foxes, deer, all kinds of birds and butterflies. There are a few wild turkeys, though I've never seen one. Check it out the first chance you get. Dwight
