Hi Sharon, These gardens are amazing and I would love to go there someday thanks to all your beautiful photos. You have done a terrific job of capturing the beauty of God in this amazing album. I don't live anywhere close to a garden like this and it takes me there with your photos. My son lives in Kansas, so maybe someday I can go there when visiting him. Jane

Hello. Thanks for you comments on my album. In answer to your question-Ajuga reptans is the proper name. It comes in green and purple forms. It's a great ground cover that looks good most of the year in sun or shade. It can look a little raggedy in very dry conditions but comes right back with rain or watering. It is available in most of the garden centers here in W. PA. and seems to be a popular plant in this area. It doesn't bloom like in the photo all the time but the purple variety looks really good even when not in bloom. Very easy to grow. Thanks again for sharing all your wonderful photos!

Double checked all you pics and the waterfall will definitely be painted and probably combine more of the flowering bushes and flowers from other pics. If that is aok? They are all super pictures!

Hi, Sharon, Thanks for your comments in guest books of two of my albums - coming from you, I value your compliments even more. I have just completed my tour of this album which I had deferred because of holiday activities. It is simply gorgeous - the color, composition, the setting equal to that of Butchart Gardens and others. With the help of your photography, I literally feel like being there and enjoying the sights and scents of all those blossoms (even though some do not have any). brunosmi/francismi/misrmi brunosmi@yahoo.com - in case you wish to use it

Hi Sharon. Thank you for your comments on "My Paintings". I'm not very good at painting from memory. I usually take two or three pictures and take a little bit from each one and make one painting. I don't consider myself a good artist, there's flaws in all my paintings. Most people can't see them, but I know they are there. I'm in the process of retaking pictures of some of my paintings with my digital camera and replacing them on Webshots. You will notice the difference when I'm finished. Spring will be here soon, and more beautiful flowers to photograph. I look forward to seeing more of your great photos. Dwight

This is a truly beautiful album. It makes me want to pack up and come to Missouri for the Springtime. Thank you for your comments on my roses. I will have a rose tree this year because I now live in an apartment...which explains why I was able to spend so much time with my camera last summer. I used to have a nursery called Windflower Farm. You can see a bit of it in my picket fence album. The roses I have pictues of were captured at Priest Point Park here in Olympia. Thanks again for all your wonderful pictures. You have the artist's eye.I look forward to seeing more of your albums. Warm regards, Marjie

Hi Sharon! Thanks for this beautiful album! I think it made my cold better :-))))) I'm really looking forward to your's and Bob's new photos and all the beauty they will bring! Thanks for your sweet comments about our puppies. Keiko and Annabelle are half-sisters. We got them at the same pet store two years apart and they turned out to be related! We don't take them with us. They are wonderful pups at home but get far too excited away from the house. I had some trouble downloading your pics. I don't know if it's my computer or Webshots. I've been having problems off and on getting to peoples albums including my own. Have you been having any similar experiences? You guys have a wonderful week! Wishing you an early spring! :-))))) Jane

Hi Sharon!!! I'm not sure what changes you made but the album is still "way gorgeous"! First of all, thanks so much for stopping by and for all your wonderful comments!!!:-))))) I spent all day yesterday and most of the day before going through pics and trying to resist the urge to start another spring album. As you saw, I failed!!! You must have one happy male cardinal now that his mate is back! Did Bob get a sunburn? LOL! Your weather really warmed up fast! Ours warms up and cools down and warms back up to cool down again. Typical. No thank you for the gumballs!!! I hope you love your Jackson & Perkins roses. What colors did you get? We have three daughters and the youngest is still at home but out of school. And we love having her! And she loves the low rent! How about your family? Poor Bob!!! Rod's parents used willow switches and I don't think he's too fond of willows! Big Hugs back to you guys!!! :-)))) Jane

I have 10 azaleas and they look beatiful in the Spring and Summer. However looked at them yesterday and they are in bad shape after our hard Winter. I hope they make it. Words can not express how much I have enjoyed your albums. I also have been checking out some of your viewers sights. Your albums are on the top of the list. Thank you so much for sharing them. I have seen more of the garden through you. Thanks again, Shirley - PS: Have a Great Day!

To Kimmy, Thanks for the lovely comments regarding my albums. Since you don't have any albums for public display under user name babykimmy, I am hoping you will look at this album again so I can answer your question. No, I am not a professional photographer. My husband and I just take photographs for a hobby and find much joy in seeing all the beautiful things God has created for us to photograph. And even though we spend a great deal of time at the Missouri Botanical Gardens, each time we go there it's a photographer's dream because of the changing of the seasons or a different flower or tree happens to be in bloom. I am glad you are getting to visit "our favorite place" through my albums. Sharon

Hello Sharon, In the Missouri Botanical Garden you have the best scene for your photographies. Its album of the garden created at the 16 of January 2003 is very very special for me, and I keep some precious scenes. Maintain his work. I congratulate it by the beauty that puts before our eyes. God has put it like gift for many of which we admired its photographies. Warm greetings from Spain. Jesus.

Hurray!!! Thanks for adding more sunshine to an already sunny and gorgeous album! Do you think if we planted a few magnolia trees in an orchard that we could have our own botanical garden? LOL! Big hug for a stupendous album! (Worth a feature!!!) Jane

Hi Sharon: I am back sorry it's been awhile. You have out did yourself again with the beautiful Cherry Blossom tree in the Japanese Garden, another download for me. I went to see my Son in Oklahoma, he is still out of a job. I feel so sorry for him and his family. I took some photos but haven't had them developed yet. I have not been able to see the Cardinals yet, or go to the Mo. Botanical Garden yet. I have been working in my yard cleaning up the gumballs, wirleybirds, grape clusters from the neighbors trees. A couple of my Azalaes didn't make it this Spring. I planted three Rose bushes, Some Daybreaks, and Clemintis. With mowing, weeding, and cleaning up after Winter and the house cleaning, I am finding out a year older does not help the old body work faster, only slower :-(. Thank you for the nice Comments in my Album. The Spring Break in Virginia Bay was sent to me by my Oldest Son, when my Grandson was their. He sure is enjoying his new JetSki. I would like to go see my Oldest and grandson, but they live so far. I pray I get to see Josh for the Summer. It's been almost three years. The trip to Oklahoma was long, 6 hours one-way. I drove and the longest trip made with my new car 2001. I had it up to 90 and didn't realize it. I looked at the 90 and thought I better slow it down before the Highway Patrol got me, or I started to fly to heaven. I haven't drove like that since my younger days. Thanks again for sharing your beautiful photos. Will talk with you later. You and Bob have a great day!! Lucky sends his love, and hugs.Shirley

Hi Sharon. Spring is a beautiful time of the year isin't it? These pictures you have here are fantastic. Don't you wish all these plants would bloom like this all year? Thanks for your comments on Don's lake. Don is one of my Christian brothers from church. These pictures were taken at his home away from home about 20 miles southwest of Sullivan, Mo. It's a beautiful place. You can only get there by taking a four wheel drive truck. I don't know how he ever found the place to begin with. Gotta go. Have a good day, Dwight

Hey Sharon! I'm sooooo glad you didn't drown or get blown away!!! We still have wind and rain and our azaleas and rhododendrons are starting to bloom! How can I get pics in this weather!!!! The bird feeder is outside the window hanging from the peak of the roof. I make them get used to seeing me through the window moving around a little. They sometimes now just eat and watch me. Others are skittish and fly away. Don't you feel sorry for the jay with the broken beak:-((((( It seems to be doing very well though. If the sun would shine it would look just a little bit like these gorgeous pics, here! Ha Ha! Guess who's here to snack at the feeder! He doesn't like the camera this morning! This album really needs to be featured!!!!!!!! Everyone would adore it! Looks like they already do!!!!!!!Hugs, grins and tickles! Jane

Dear Sharon...I just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed ALL your albums. You are one of my favorite users and an excellent photographer with a good eye for composing God's beauty. I too am a photgrapher hoping to save up for a 4x5 Sinar view camera soon. From one photographer to another...God Bless, and Please, keep uploading those enjoyable photos. You might check mine out. Of course I haven't gotton anywhere gorgeous yet, but I want to get up to Moraine and Herbert Lakes in Alberta, and the town of Jasper, Alberta above the Ice Fields Parkway Highway...there's also Peyto Lake...Oh, we could have a field day up there! Good Luck Always! Colleen.

Forgot to mention Alaska, especially in the Fall. In mid-summer Alberta's lakes cast an aqua glow from the glacial silt abundant in them. I guess it's the same concept as the thick ice looking blue in glaciers. Would enjoy hearing from you...Bye!

Sharon, well I am back again. Love this album. Thanks for your comments about the lightning strike. I hate to admit it, but, I know I took over 50 photos to get that one. And, I needed Charlie's encourgement, else I would have been under the covers hiding with TR! We are going to Va. Beach this weekend to visit son and family, see their new house and go to a Beach Boys concert. Looking forward to it. Have a super weekend. Louise
