Album Description:

The Columbus Zoo is a great place to visit...and to take photos. This zoo is growing and expanding thanks to the marketing skills of Jack Hanna and donations from people who love the zoo. So far there are 6,000 animals at the zoo.

  • Wow! You've got some great animal photos in your Columbus Zoo sequence. The Rhino head shot is really outstanding. But some of your best photos are near the end of the sequence. (Suggest you move them to front.) Thanks for sharing.

  • Hi Connie! I love your photos from the Columbus Zoo. Our daughter and her family lived in Columbus for 2 years and we were able to visit the zoo on a few occasions and loved it. Now they live in Louisville, KY. We've been to the Louisville Zoo once, but hope to go more often. Thanks for your comments on our featured album today. Most of the photos in this album were taken with our Panasonic Digitals cameras that have a 12x optical zoom. They work pretty good except for animals who are behind wire fences in low light. And duplicate entries are when someone tries to write a guestbook message in an album and it doesn't appear to go through at first and then the person hits the refresh button or whatever method they use and the same message shows up twice in the guestbook. It's been happening a lot lately. Hope you have a wonderful day. Sharon from Missouri

  • Wanted to let you know the white goat is Scooter and black goat is Crunch. They are twins! Both are Nigerian Dwarf Goats. The other is a pygmy goat and her name is Teba.

  • Hello Connie! Thanks for your visit and comments on our "Sunday Drive" album -- Joe and I love to get out and wander and always take our cameras! Sounds like you guys will be adding a new collection of churches soon -- I'll look forward to seeing it if you will let me know when you put in on! Meanwhile, I have really enjoyed this album from the Columbus Zoo. You have included a number of great shots but my favorites are of the sleepy leopard! Thanks again for your visit! • Hi Connie! Wow, looks like you had a wonderful day at the zoo! Fantastic pictures...my favorites are the lepoard...so beautiful! Sometimes it is so hard to take good pictures at the zoo with all the fences and bars, but it looks like the Colombus Zoo is striving to make natural habitats without bars! Thanks for sharing with us all..take care...hugs galore...Darlene
