  • Born and raised in South Philadelphia, now residing in Largo, Florida. My wife and I were in town just this past December to see Dr. Michael J. O'Connor at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. We got to see family we haven't seen in 10 years. Except for a mishap with a car fire while visiting family in South Jersey, the trip went well. We would have liked to see ALL our friends and relitives, but time was of the essence. Thoughts and best wishes to everyone we got the chance to see and those who we missed. Warmest regards to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 3rd and Wolf Sts. and to South Philadelphia High School, Broad Street at Snyder Avenue. I was suprised to notice no pictures of The Franklin Institute, Olde City, and/or Independance Hall/Carpenter's Hall, The Philadelphia Acadamy of Art and, of course, The Academy of Music. Oh Yea, What about The Liberty Bell, Betsy Ross' House and Ben Franklin's Resting Place? Z
