Hi, Merry. Thanks for the compliment. Yes, I'm using a digital camera (Mavica), which I find extremely limiting compared to my other cameras, where I can switch lenses and control things better. But, it's hard to beat the Mavica for Webshots. Yes, I get paid to take pictures. I got started when I was a reporter at a major newspaper and always carried a camera around with me. The editors got to like depending on me for "art," so I've had tons of photos published. I make my living now as a novelist (7 books published), but I hate to give up photography. My sister's a photographer, and she know a lot more than I do about breaking in and about taking good pictures. I can put you two in touch.
