Hi Rob, found your webshots album through a ws search for dragonflies. Featured 11 months & 21 days ago I see & well worth it. Missed it then as I was on a month long cruise in the Far East. You are obviously an expert nature photographer & very knowledgeable as well. I am just a beginner & only in last few years but we have so much nature in Norfolk it is always easy to find something to point the camera at! LOL. If you can find time, I have just loaded a DF & Damsel album, identification is not my strong point & would welcome any observations you might have on any of my wrong identities. Eric

Hi,Rob, Your photos are marvellous. Thank you for displaying them. I also have a fascination for dragonflies and damselflies. I, too, have an album of D & D's but, sadly, not many of my pics compare to yours. May I ask what camera you used, please? Keep up the good work. Kim

Rob - You obviously know a LOT more about dragonfly species than I do. I have struggled to learn the names of the ones that are common to the Pond on my property, and am not positive of many of the IDs ! Great photos you have too ! Thanks for the visits to my humble albums. - Pat

Congratulations on your beautiful featured album. I especially like way in the first couple of image the dragonfly in sharp focus stands out against that out-of-focus background. It really helps to isolate the insect and focus attention solely on it. Greetings from Florida, Paul

Hi Rob! Groeten Anna

Ohmygoodness, never ever known that there are so many different kind of dragonflies & damselflies in Holland. Amazing shootings. I loved a comment in the damshelflies-guestbook: "Are you spraying them with some thing? " :-) I've the same "problem": they always seem to be on the move. So my respect for your photo's and the quality of them! Juliette - Holland

i'm honored to be the first to sign your guestbook for this amazing album. there are some professional quality shots in here i could easily see in national geographic. those closeups are fantastic. did you take these with a telephoto or macro lens? i know the difficulty in trying to capture these little guys and you've truly mastered it. great work. awesome photos. if you get a chance have a look at my 'angels or devils' album. take care. george-
