  • Born and raised in NM, still live here. Had a closeup photo of prayer candles in the Sanctuario in Chimayo, but lost it changing computers. Now can't locate on Webshots. Any ideas? Love all the photos, by the way.

  • I have to admit, these are great pictures of New Mexico where I was born and raised. Yet...I am almost positive the alley picture is NOT Santa Fe. Actually, that is an alley in Taos, New Mexico. Why do I know? Just down that alley is where I spent my summers. There used to be a restaurant at the end of the alley where my grandmother was a cook. Boy, does that bring back memories. Anyway, like I said, I am almost 100% sure. If not, sorry...

  • Really nice photo. It looks like El Capitan Mountains in NM but I was not sure. If anyone else could have or did take a photo similar to this...they would have posted it before you did. The album as a whole shows diversity in the southwest culture and yet captures the flavor of it in one bite. First Prize, in my opinion. Keep up the good work.
