Wow. The picture of the cubs standing up looks so odd; they look more like people in bear suits. There's a lot of brave people to get that close to them, especially that guy fishing on the other side of the river from a bear. I bet it was a memorable trip.

Greeting from Indianapolis, Indiana - I LOVED all your Katmai pics and congrat's on "photo of the week" - we hope to go to Katmai someday - we took a trip 2 yrs ago to Alaska for 3 weeks and LOVED it more than words could ever say - Katmai wasn't one of the stops that trip though - so much to see and do up there - I have some other Alaska pics on my webshots page you might like also.
