Hello Jayne, what a celebration in yellow this album is. Beautiful scenery, and beautifully shot. Rape is also known as Canola in this country. Greetings from Keith in Australia.

Dear Jayne, This is a lovely album and reminds me of the fields that my cousins called gorse but you call rape. In California they have yellow fields like that in February and it is mustard seed. We all must have our quirks I guess but nevertheless whatever they are the fields are gorgeous. I was just going to let you know that I had found out the name of the Loostrife in our gardens when you wrote with the name of it. Thank you for letting me know and on that as we do agree. As far as I know I have not heard from my relatives in London but if anything had been wrong my cousin would have called I am sure. London then got it again and they seem to be looking in the Midlands for suspects. Are they looking any where around you or close. I hope not. Yes it is a terrible world it is becoming but if we hold to our values hopefully we will all make out fine. Sorry I am so late getting back to you as we have been busy with my cousin a short distance from us plus our veggie garden and to top that all off our internet service and telephone service has been off and on due to horrific storms. Oh this technology based world - depending on if it is working or not that determins how good it is I guess. I hope you have a great holiday in Italy. Will be waiting for photos of your experiences. Have a great time. Love 'n hugs, Janet

Hi Jayne..Thank you so much for your comments in my albums. It is so nice to hear from you, or visit your site..This album is beautiful, we don't have this yellow fields where I lives. But we have postboxes, I will bring one from my neighbourhood. The boxes are red, there are also some yellow for local post. I don't have any poto, so you have to wait a day or two. Best wishes from EVA

Hi Jayne, I enjoyed viewing this album with its warmth and sunshine. Made me for get about the cold and snow outside. #7 is my favorite - has my three favorite colors. I also favor #14. Hi Jayne. My Husband and I lived in England for a few years and when we think of England we think of the rape flower fields. We were wondering if there is a way we can purchase a copy of a photo from you. Thanks, Kristie

These same scenes are found in Eastern Washington State. There the golden color of the rape fields also contrasts against the green of growing wheat and patches of trees around farmsteads and along creeks in the Palouse country. It is beautiful! Jim
