Thank you so much for visiting my Featured Amish tribute. I used photographs I had taken with permission, having spent many weekends over the past year in the Paradise area, making friends while taking photographs. Knowing them has made me a better person; my hope is to pass this on through my photojournalism. The evening of the event I felt the need to put this album together with the help of a good friend from WS,[Randyincv]. I have to say thank you to Randy for the editing. Also, Thank you to WS for featuring it. The fear that these lovely people would been seen only in their grief, while being hounded by the press seemed so unfair to them. Three hundred years of Amish History demonstrates a powerful sense of nonresistance, goodwill and pacifism, with none of the modern trappings we all rely on. For these humble Americans, to walk with the Lord is enough! They have shown us through simple love and understanding, their forgiveness is their strength. Forgive those who trespass against us!

Hi Claudia! Thanks for your kind note! Yes I too thought of converting to BW only at the last moment, after tedious work with PhotoShop that just didn't work for some photos - they looked artificial. Anyway I can't say that it's a magic solution, but in some of the photos I really liked it. And surely it's an easy solution which is good for a lazy girl like me :-). Hi Claudia, I see my mate the bug from the Oz has beat me to it again, I like shots of bees they always pose nicely the only trouble is they always have there noses in other peoples business, So busy bee is my fav.I should think that this album is growing to grow and grow, If you have a look in (etiswinford) she has an album with all our photo's on have a look, if you email a photo of yourself to her she will put you on, if you have a look see who is on my PC screen, I need it to make me look better, take care now Ken
