Hi Maureen! Your pics are really great, I wish I could get some of the really great ones when they are in flight like you do, but I found that I don't have the patience to sit still long enough in one place where they might get used to me like they have with you. So I will just continue to enjoy yours!) I checked out your new website & that is really cool!! I hope you can get some sales, that would be a nice little side business. As far as my hummers looking like they are in cooler weather, believe me, it isn;t here!! It's been 90 almost everyday, which is another reason I can't sit out there too long or I'll get heat stroke! lol Maybe Northern hummers are just naturally a little darker? Altho, some of those pics were taken earlier in the Spring & it may have been cooler then. I'll have to check my more recent ones to see if they are the same, might be something interesting to follow up on. Thanks for the compliments on the Butterflies, I wish I had more energy to follow them around to get better pics cause we get a LOT in our field that has grown into a lot of wildflowers. Keep the pics coming cause I look at all of them & always enjoy them very much! Take care, Linda
