  • Hi Rod, Love the new additions. I went through most of them again and Left some new comments. Not sure why I didn't first time round. Must be my age. Those sunsets at the end are amazing! Hopefully this will be another place I get to see at last. Take care now, Love Chesca xx

  • Hi Rod from Down Under.... Yet another wonderful Album. The problem with going placed in Australia,is that,if I did the same thing in Europe I would end up going through 4 different countries. You have to be prepared for long distance driving. I have just found time to scan the last lot of photo's taken with my 35mm Pentax( Hamilton Island ), so from now on, it's all digital. My next visit to the UK will not be until Mid 2008 (my 3rd),so I look forward to your next album, as I cannot seem to get enough of those beautiful seaside towns. Well done....

  • Funny how I always seem to choose this album when writing to thank you for visiting an album of mine! Must be pure coincidence!! Anyway, thanks very much for visiting my old black/white photos a few days ago and now the Aussie Snowfields album. Those slides were well over 20 years old but they never seem to deteriorate, do they? There were a few problems with colour casting but Photoshop soon sorted them out. Really I would like to do what you have done and re-take all the shots in the snowfields with the R-1 but somehow I can't see us getting there now - at least not in winter. Anyway, it was great to have your words of appreciation and making the album did bring back some fun times to us. All best wishes and keep dry. Peter

  • Hello Rod. It is way too long since anyone has been in and commented on this album so I am happy to use it as my medium for replying to your comments on my comet photos. Thanks for those and also for your remarks on the sky pics, which were really taken to while away the time whilst waiting for the comet to show up. Where are you posting your photos now? I keep looking our for new ones but am obviously not looking in the right places. Keep in touch anyway, despite what is happening to the English cricketers!! All the best, Peter

  • Right - I'm back again for the umpteenth time, feeling a bit like the guy who opened Pandora's Box. I casually mention Bitton Park and bingo! As if by magic up pops the required photo! Next time you're passing 75 Maudlin Drive..............LOL Thanks for finding my 2 year old Kalbarri album and for all the great comments - we intend going back there in 3 or 4 weeks time with new camera in hand! Its 550kms north of us, or approximately a 5 1/2 to 6 hours drive. Thanks for eveything once again, Peter

  • Hi Rod! Once again you have produced a lovely scenic album that is a delight to view. It surprised me to see the railway line so close to the water, then even more of a surprise to see our Black Swan and thanks for adding their history. Pleased they are doing well over there. That duckling is so cute -- the perfect shot! Thankyou for sharing.. Gladys, Western Australia.

  • I came back in to thank you for your appreciation of the additions in my Winter Wonderland album, but needless to say I ended up going right through this album on full screen once more, noting the new photos as I went along. Now I am left wondering what more magic you are going to produce from your hat! Do you have any pics of Bitton Park? (On the right as you drive into town from Newton Abbot) Peter

  • Well I got up early this morning and have seen them all now but have one complaint - it's not big enough! I want MORE, MORE, MORE!! Never satisfied, me! Wonderful photos Rod and it's so nice to see not only Teignmouth and Dawlish but to see them bathed in glorious sunshine. Thank you a thousand times for this album, which I have bookmarked for VERY easy access whenever I feel the need for a fix!! LOL The rest of the day is going to feel flat now so I think the golf course is the place to be. Catch you later Rod. Peter

  • Dear Rod, Well where do I start too ? I love that you dedicated the album to Peter and I loved to read his nostalgic comments along the way :o) The duckling picture is just wonderful you must have known you had a winner when you saw that one :o) This whole album just screams summertime and I would be in that water given the present temperatures given the chance. Always when I view your albums I take the time to look carefully at each picture as you fill each one with so much interest we can all learn so much from your example. Thank you so much for visiting my Park Gate album and for all the lovely comments. It really is a very special place to go and we often visit and be the only people there surrounded by so much wildlife. Various thing have happened recently and I'd not been feeling too special but at last we have booked a couple of holiday cottages in Yorkshire leaving a week Saturday. It's very last minute but I'm excited as its a part of the country I have never stayed in before and I'm sure to keep the camera busy. Take care now and keep cool Jill

  • Well Rod what can i say. This is a very beautiful album. I think your inbox must now be overflowing as i just had to leave so many comments. I showed my mum the pic of the duckling and she thinks it is a stunner. You will have to tell me what camera you use. Your photos are so rich in their colours. The fact that you're an ace photographer helps too of course. They have most definitely made me want to go there. Thanks so much for all(so many - i love it)the kind comments about my Dorset Delights album. Im so glad you like them. I had hoped to get more pictures of the New Forest but it wasn't to be this time. I am spending a week in Poole after my week in Cornwall so with luck if the weather holds up I will get a few more nice photos. I'm shooting off to North Wales a week Friday for a few days so hopefully will come back with another several hundred photos to sort through. I've having to purchase an external drive for my laptop as i am nearly out of room and it refuses to download onto disks at the moment. That should hold a huge amount of photos so now I have to find the time to go out and take them. Something I never tire of doing. Anyway Rod, hope you are ok and not melting away in this heat. Take care and see you here again soon. Bye for now. Love Chesca. #####

  • Hello Rod, thankyou for your kind word in my G/B Trams, and the very nice comments you have left. That new one, they are having problems with it. It will not go round Starr Gate the end of Blackpool. So it's really on trial's. I was talking to the driver of the 1934 Tram, and he was telling me. I bet you thought that was boring. LOL. Ray and Eileen. (UK)

  • Hi Rod! This is another beauty and thanks for sharing so many beautiful places. Peter has probably been having a good time remembering past times. That water looks so refreshing right now. We're having a heat wave; even the water sprinkler looks good now. :-) Have a happy day. Sharon from Missouri P.S. Thanks for any guestbook messages you left in the last couple of months--I'm still excited over the new grandson and now today our granddaughters are coming in for a visit.

  • Hello Chris and Rod. I simply love your albums.I lived in England in the 40s and again in the 70s and your albums have brought wonderful memories. I particularly like the Scotland and Westcountry series. Somehow remind me of my british grandmother stories of her youth. Maria Elena, Argentina.

  • Hi Rod and I keep coming back to this album which, for me, is one of the best in Webshots. Many thanks for your generous words in my FIRE guestbook. That was both scary AND hairy at times. Today I was out there photographing some more Aftermath pics and it was heartbreaking to see our lovely national park looking like a bombsite. And all the dead kangaroos - I didn't have the heart to take photos of them. So I am happy to return to Teignmouth for an hour or two. Best wishes, Peter in Western Australia

Great photos and I'm so glad to have found you. I am listing you as a favourite so's I can browse the rest of your photos at leisure and also keep up with your new postings.
