Thanks for some fantastic photos - they made me cry. I left Jersey in 1965 and was last there in 1999. Now in South Africa, but very nostalgic for CI! Ros

Hi Rob, that's a real nice collection you have here and I am so sorry that I haven't replied to you earlier. I still only have those puny 6 pics in my folder, but I may start uploading some more one of these days. Wow! BEA you mentioned, that was some time ago now. I'm still here on this rock in the English Channel and I'll have to get the camera out and find the changes to what you may remember of how this island once looked. Country side is the same, but St. Helier has changed a lot over the years, not to the good in my eyes. My wife unfortunatly passed away in January 2004 and to know what to do with myself is an uphill battle just now, but you could well have sparked some interest I could take part in. Hoi Rob! Prachtige foto's. De coverphoto is echt super! Toen ik nog op een camping in Biarritz werkte als vakantiewerk heb ik verschillende surfers uit Jersey ontmoet. Ze waren altijd heel trots op hun mooie eiland. Groeten Anna

Heb je uitgebreide geld site gezien. Ik ken het Hollandse geld vanaf p85 (10 gulden). Ik vond het erg jammer dat we het stomme saaie compromis Euro geld kregen. Vond al heel lang dat we een van de mooiste bankbiljetten ter wereld hadden.
