Hi Gala! You are lucky to have such a big zoo not too far from where you live (and your child will be happy, too, no doubt!?). The pictures are very good - an excellent idea to present the different species mostly with more than just one shot. Thank you for preparing this fine piece of photographic art. Thanks also for your kind comments in our Brittany album. - With best wishes Käthi and Henri

Hi Gala, You have several great collections of animal shots and I think calcarifer (Paul) is correct on the Bongo. It also seems like the Dallas and Ft. Worth Zoos have grown significantly since I left there. I lived for almost 10 years in Carrollton, TX and worked in downtown Dallas. Are you from the Metroplex area? Paul in FL P.S. Thanks for your very kind words about my NYC pictures, but check out my zoo pictures. If you like animals, might like these.

I saw your zoo album and had to take a look. I watched it on slideshow and enjoyed every photo. I especially like the elephant shots, looks like you could have reached out and patted them, you must have a good zoom on your camera! I also enjoyed the photos of the cafe where you had lunch, what an interesting place. The green snake was fascinating and the tigers (all of them) were a real treat! Candy

Hello I was in your Fort Worth Zoo photo album and noticed on page 4 you had an unidentified animal, it is a Bongo (Tragelaphus eurycerus)it is from Kenya, Tanzania :) It is a beautiful animal.

Hi, thanks for visiting my photos, so thought I'd come see your world. What an unusual name for a dog, Rooby, never heard it before. Hey the gorillas are so cute. Glad you liked the turkey!!!
