  • Hi! I so love all your photos here! My husband, our three children and myself visited Newfoundland (we live in Massachusetts) for two weeks last July and are planning another two weeks this July. We are hoping to catch some berg activity this year! My grandpa hailed from Pouch Cove Bay and though I never met him this land of your calls to me and stirs my soul like no place on earth ever has.   • Bonnie: I got into your albums with your feature today on the little boats. I had never seen any pictures of Newfoundland before this morning that I know of. This is a great introduction to your beautiful part of North America! Caplin - does this fish come near shore to spawn in the sand and are they then picked up or what?   • I've enjoyed looking at your photo's very much. They're wonderful! I'm from Little Hearts Ease, Newfoundland which is very close to Hodges Cove. I noticed you have a pic on your site called "A view of Butter Cove from the boat" I believe that this is actually Hodges Cove. My father is from Butter Cove (which is the next community to L.H.E.) and I'm pretty sure that the pic is H.C. Thanks for the great pics though, nice to view when living away.
