Hi, I was a student at Virginia in the late 60's and early 70's, and I had several friends in Palmyra. I have not been there since the lake was formed. I was worried about it spoiling the area, but it seems to have augmented the beauty -- although I suppose that Palmyra will never again be the little country town it once was...

There are no words to truely discribe how breathtaking your pictures are in this album. And as we all know sometimes pictures do not do total justice to the subject at hand. I can only imagine the glory of seeing these pictures as you took them. WOW! I am the first one here! I feel practically like Columbus! :) This album is EXTRA special. I could have downloaded the entire thing but fell in love with the 'Christmas tree Twilight.' VERY beautiful. (And I am totally tired of Chistmas right now which tells you how much I loved your work.) I also loved the 'dock' one and the 'early dawn with moon' Gorgeous shots!
