Hello I represent Gullivers Travel Associates (GTA), an international travel services provider. We produce online guides to all major tourist destinations around the world, which we hope will inspire people to travel to the places we feature. We are currently producing a guide to 'Anaheim', where we looking for an image to illustrate the 'Oak Canyon Nature Center'. Unfortunately we havent been able to obtain an image of the nature centre, so are looking for a 'nature' image instead, and I've come across your great photos. I would like to ask you whether you would grant me permission use one of your images of the butterfly in order to illustrate guide. Although we do not have the resources to pay for using the image, we will credit your name as the photographer on the image where used, e.g. '© Photograph by ........ All rights and interest in the material will remain with you, the owner of the image. I would be really grateful if you can advise whether this would be possible? Hello: I am an editor at the Smithsonian's National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C. We would like to request permission to use a photo found in this album in an upcoming exhibition. The photos is a metalmark butterfly(http://image02.webshots.com/2/4/52/90/43945290aMPqZN_ph.jpg). We are putting together a family activity room for a new exhibition that opens in February called "Listening to Our Ancestors: The Art of Native Life Along the North Pacific Coast." Eleven Native nations will be featured, and members of those nations have worked very closely with us on the exhibition. One activity requires photographs of real animals. Kids will be asked to match the real animal to a drawing of that animal in the artistic tradition of the region. The photo that we are requesting will not be used elsewhere, and the room's aim is purely educational. Proper credit will be provided on a separate panel in the room.
