Album Description:
What a beautiful place. I took these pictures in 1986, in the area between Djanet and Tamanrasset, in the far South of Algeria, close to Lybia and Niger. Now this area is forbidden for tourism, and as you can see it's a terrible waste. For this trip we us

Hello Ztong, Love your photo's here. I visited the Hoggars in 1978. The Hoggars and the Sahara is an awesome, beautiful, and very interesting place! Thank you for showing these great photo's. A real pleasure! Very Sincerely, Gary -- Seattle, Washington, USA.

Hello Ztong: Love your Sahara photographs, and want to ask permission to use two of them in a photo essay on Algeria I'm putting together in a similar Smugmug site. My Algeria photos are not up yet, the site is still under construction, but is being built with two years of slides I took there in the sixties. If this note has gotten through to you, please respond and I will tell you exactly which photos, and you can tell me the conditions under which I can mount them. Clearly, full credit, and perhaps a reference to your Webshots site, would be a good start. Yours, Jim Smith Benton
