What beautiful macrophotography. You have conquered the problem of depth of field in a very profesional way. Of course, it helps to have subjects like snails that move very slowly. I remember the beautiful snails in the garden of a small country church when my wife and I visited Denmark years ago. You are invited to see my album called New England in the USA where a photograph of yellow snails on seaweed is located. Congratulations for having the featured album this week. All of your albums are superb. Bill Cable (heyburn3)

I recognize the leopard slug. They live in my garden, and love cleaning out the cat-food bowls. The snails here are beautiful. Some of them I have never seen before, and I didn't realize that there were so many varieties. It's good to see these small creatures not sprayed and poisoned.

P.S. We have slugs called leopard slugs, like the spotted ones on your photos, and they love eating the food from our cat and dog plates. They are good cleaners.

what a fascinating album! I really enjoyed your snails, slugs, and insect photos. We are enjoying spring-time on this side of the world, and many insects are emerging. You certainly love nature. Regards from Danielle in Australia.
