Album Description:

I raced down the road one morning to try and catch the sunrise. There was no great colour show but the light that arose, was just an Artists delight. These pics taken at the end of the road, down and around the point of Cameray Rd, Cameray.

  • Hi Em! Lovely to see a new album from you and what a beautiful start to your day with such a perfect morning. Enjoyed the whole album, but among my favourites are Delight in Bay; Sunrise; View over Rooftops; Before Sunup; Beautiful Pelican; Spring Frames and Sunlight & Rocks. Great work Em and I hope all is going well for you in your travels. Many thanks for your lovely messages, always nice to hear from you. Take care... Gladys, Western Australia.

  • Hi Em, I like a bright sky with reds and oranges and purples as well as the next guy, but there is a lot to be said for the soft peaceful colors of an early morning. To anyone who doubts that, let them come see this album. Great job Em! Take care and greetings from Florida, Paul.

  • Hi Em, thanks for visiting my Slovenia & Montenegro album and for your very warm words in the guestbook. I'm very pleased to discover this new album of yours. I guess it was not an easy job to get out very early to have these pictures but the result justifues the effort. I really like the light in your pictures that welcomes the newly born day. Thanks for bringing this light to all of us. Did you know that the meaning of my name in Hebrew is related to light? Greetings from Israel, Yair.

  • This is a beautiful album. There is much scenery that reminds me of home here in Maine, USA. There are also some that brought back fond memories of our trips to England. Janet/Maine

  • Hi Em, what a beautiful album and a beautiful way to start what looks like a perfect day. I love the early mornings and you are right, you do not alway need the bright colours. Sometimes the more subtle tones are ideal. Excellent job as always. Cheers for now. Chris...QLD :-)

  • Great shots in this album- I love them! A few of my friends at work were just down under in Australia and said they loved it. Hopefully in the next year and a half I'll be able to go as well. Natalie

  • Hi Em, do you still get up before sunrise and have your walks? Okay, this time it seem it has been a run! :-) A run to catch the light! The light you managed to capture is glorious, so cool and silver and with a lot of fire shining over the horizon! The small black frames emphasize the silhouette effect. The water looks so calm, still sleeping everyone - only Em walking around with her camera! I very much like 10a. 'Duo First Light', WOW! Then 14: 'Mauve Peace' and 28 'Beautiful Pelican' with such a wonderful reflection. 40. 'another Wattle species' shows again the special Aussie morning blue glow of 'before sunrise'. Lovely!! Thanks for looking at all my new albums! I got your messages to my first cup of coffee and had the most wonderful day after it! :-) You make me believe I took some good pictures! Thanks for that. Some day I might believe that! :-) I am happy you liked the strawflowers. It IS an 6:00 am album, too :-) The Zinnias had so much sunshine around that it was very easy to get color and a very deep focus! :-) Yoav grows so fast. It is good to see the new generation so happy. Idith went back to work 2 weeks ago. Her husband looks after Yoav. Em, I hope you have wonderful days after those early morning runs. But you MUST have. To capture such special photos gives a great feeling for the day! Have a wonderful weekend! Galit

  • emmeeee, I'm glad you caught my feature album, but wow you have some great one's here. Do you ever sit still??? As far as the mountains, they sure do bring up memories, mostly of me trying to ride the gear shifter,, eeks, for those of you that just read that, I meant when I was in Australia on the WRONG side of the road, I was hanging onto anything (almost:) just to put weight to balance the car out... I have never been so scared in my life, thank you dear emmee for reminding me, that Australia can be wonderful and terrifying at the same time. Just keep all you "small" little insects please, ewieeeeeee, your friend, Melody

  • Hi Em! What a light peeking over the tree tops. So etheral and peaceful. Not all sunrises need to be blasting with color. The pure light is quiet and serene. Must have been fun taking the images. Thanks for dropping by. Have a good day. Eti

  • There is a saying about a Thing of Beauty being a Joy Forever and this album epitomises (if you'll pardon the language)that perfectly. Which makes me think that something like this must happen almost every morning if only we could drag ourselves out of bed for it. That you did it is great and your results are wondrous. Some of those photos would win prizes for you and I really think you should seriously consider submitting them - and others - to a photo library where they would have every chance of being picked up by an advertising agency. Those where there is plenty of space in the sky (on which to write their message) are just what they look for. Super work mate. Hugs, Peter

  • Hello Em, it's been a while since I visited your site, thanks to a heavy work load and all the problems with Webshots. You've worked wonders with the morning light in these photos, and captured both the atmosphere and mood of the morning. These shots are a pleasure to view, made all the moreso by knowing exactly where you took them. There are wonderful rewards awaiting those so bold as to rise early and venture out with a camera. I must do it again soon - probably next week, when work has me going to exciting places like Glen Innes and Grafton. Thank you for sharing these awesome shots with us all; Best wishes from Keith.

  • Hi Em, It's been a long time. How are you? I hope that you are well and those creative juices are sstill flowing. Do you have any plans to post some more of your artwork? I've been doing a bit of travelling and guess what? I ended up on crutches again so I'm out of the game for a while....again. I look forward to seeing some more of your work in the near future Em. In the meantime take care and be happy. Warm regards form a cold Scotland (it's snowing again) Craig
