  • ephr0514.... Thanks for your lovely compliments. I am so glad that I could bring back some fond memories of Jekyll Island for you. It truly is GA's jewel, I liked it more than I had anticipated. Funny thing about hometowns, I hated mine growing and couldn't wait to leave.... now when I go back, it is the ONLY place in the world where I feel like I belong. Thx, again, Wanda P.S.   • Hi Wanda, I was born in Glynn Cty and have alot of family there. I think that Jekyll Island is the best kept secret. I know live in Texas, but Jekyll is my favorite vacation spot. I love the beaches, lighthouse on St. Simon, the piers, fresh seafood, etc. I had better stop, I am getting homesick. It is truly a beautiful place. I didn't appreciate it as a kid, because it was so small; but now that I am older I am very appreciative. Thanks for the memories.

  • I'm bonkers about islands wherever they are but this Jewel takes the cake if I may mix my metaphors. No 2nd class picture or scene in dees album!!! Me/we are gonna keep watchin ya! Outstanding compliments by one as great as briansbabe2!!!!!

  • Hello Wanda, Nice picture-story and history of a well-known landmark and you've collected many of the hotspots of the island. The sunsets and 'rises are beautiful, as is the greennnnnn.
