Galit I am so pleased you sent comments on my albums, as it gave me the chance to come back and look at all your albums. They are all incredibly beautiful my friend. You really have a nack with that camera of yours. God Bless. Hugs Faith

Hello Galit, I loved your albums with all of those wonderful flowers, but I also love the sea and the beautiful beaches. This one is one of my favorites, the ones I had the time to see anyway; you have so many. God bless you for loving your job too. Thank you for sharing these beauties with the rest of us. Domingos, from New Jersey, USA.

Hi Galit, This is a beautiful album.I love that locust. I did come face to face with swarms of those creatures in 1980 in Cameroon where they did great damage to the crops. I love your unique perspective! Shalom! Marlis in Alberta, Canada

Hi Galit, you have such a beautiful name. Never heard it before but it sounds like music. I have already been here it seems, as whaddup47, those days I did not understand one is allowed to make several albums.. Trying to camouflage. My Madeira of last year. I have got new old pics from Portugal I wanted to show someone so I put them in underberg48. This is a mess. They are very poor, from 1993 and scanned pictures with a try to sharpen them. You liked a most funny pic in my Seurasaari album. It was the one taken late at night at 9 p.m. and on the north side of the island. My avocado in the kitchen has many stems and it is 2 m tall, not really but very tall. They grow long as we have not got much light so they hurry up. The Kiwis only were tiny, lots of them in the pot and they gradually died. They had nice leaves, hairy. The forest star http://jata.vampula.net/kasvio/html/metsatahti.htmin the album is tiny, the last picture shows anemones, they are anemone nemorosa. Thank you for deleting my address and thank you for your kind words. You really are so awfully nice. Did I show you the best site ever done of Helsinki: http://taivasalla.net/index_eng.html I am sending it to everyone I think might wish to see the beauty of my city. One person is photographing it all, what a task. We have got most of the area in this country covered with forests, that is why you saw some trees in my album:) The island is a walking distance from my home and the cottages, the church, the manor houses etc. have been gathered there from all over Finland. Also we have got about 60.000 lakes. But no very high mountains but in Lapland a little. Have a great weekend, Merike

Hi Galit, I hope you understood that I was only joking... It's just that I made these pictures long before I even joined Webshots so even if you saw me at that time, you did not know that I even exist... Some thime ago, Ran planned on gathering one day. If yhat happens, you can see me not only as a reflection on a birthday baloon. Did you hear anything about this gathering?

Hi Galit, thanks a lot for your very very kind words in my Twilight Time album. I did not know that Hertzliya beaches are only yours... otherwise I'll ask your permission to take pictures there. Actually, the pictures from Accadia beach are from Dec 31, 2004 - I told you that on the last day of the year we celebrate my brother's birthday (and as of 2005 also the featured album day...). All other pictures were taken this week in Tel-Aviv near Jerusalem beach. Fortunately, there were some days without rain but cloudy enogh to produce beautiful sights. On Monday morning I'm going to New Zealand for 3 weeks, this time it's pure vacation. I guess that a few albums will be created as a result of this travel. Of course you'll be he first one to be notified... Wishing you a wonderful weekend, Yair.

Hi Galit. What a lovely surprise to hear from you again after all this time. Months and months! But you have more than made up for your absence by your beautiful words in my Remembering Spring album. Thank you for that, or rather those! It was an album that sort of materialized on the spur of the moment when we were talking about how nice the spring had been this year. Now, of course, we are into summer which, they tell us, will be hotter than normal. So far it is COLDER than normal but we'll take that while we can because I've no doubt that in a few weeks we'll be crying out for some cooler conditions. You ARE working hard aren't you? Just don't go overdoing things, okay? And I guess that before we know it you'll be out in those strawberry fields once again! If you are not around between now and Christmas I wish you a very happy time with your new Grandson and family and hope that 2006 brings you health, wealth and happiness, in whichever order you prefer! Love and hugs, Peter

Hi Galit. Hope this message finds you well, and here I am back in Sydney for a few days to get some gear but left my reading glasses behind which is a pure pain. I manage to squint my way through using a pair of my friends glasses. I loved this album and the funny little Locust. Great shots Galit and loved the flowers too. Now I know the name of the Yellow flower and look at all the shells that come in with the ocean. I am pleased that you made the time to go to the beach and have enjoyment and capture it for all of us to see. It is a great album and as usual full of your witty commetns and great camera work. I have been without a computer for weeks and only a couple of library stops and limited time there and it is over when it just seems to begin. Hopefully soon a laptop will solve that problem. Anyway my dear friend, tks for sharing your beautiful walk as it was a total joy. Catch you soon and give Yoav a big hug for me. Take care, lots of luv and hugs....Em

Hi Galit. I've come to say how very happy I was to hear from you in my post box gb. The best part about a feature, is hearing from all of your friends all day long. It was so kind of you to call. Now I have had the opportunity to view this new album of yours and I love it. I am so envious of your weather in October and also that you have a beach to visit so close to home. Photo #12 of the Sea Daffodil is a fabulous shot. What a beautiful flower and a wild one too. How sad to hear that it only opens for one single day. Fascinating fact about the Evening Primrose. As it only opens at night I though how very appropriate it's Hebrew name is. That locust guy looks quite a size. I wouldn't have been brave enough to get that close to him, let alone let him jump onto my leg. I'm not 'into' bugs and insects, I'm afraid. I hope you are well and happy. Love as always and warm cuddles for Yoav. Jayne xx

Dear Gailit, I am desperately trying to catch up with my GB entires today been a busy couple of weeks with lots happening and sadly our old dog Pepper died too. He was 17 and a half a very old man but it threw me totally for a few days just how much I missed him but I know I had your GB entry the same day and it really was lovely. I have just re-read it now and your Gb entries always make me smile and feel special so thank you for that. Anyway to your album I LOVE the first shot ;o) LOL more of those I think we need. The Sea Daffodil is just the most beautiful flower I have never seen before and look gorgeous against the lue sky, We have evening primroses here and they smell gorgeous too I wonder if your smell too. I loved your locust pictures too I can imagine the look on your face as it is crawling up your leg LOL Bless you Gailit for sharing these pictures with us Take care now Jill

Hi Galit, Thanks for visiting my snail. I wish I could add a story to my pictures like you did in this album. The pictures of the snail are not that attractive so I had to do something with that album. Making some fun was the answer. You're idea regarding the slide show is great. One of my friends is doing that all the time and I encourage her to keep doing it, hoping the counter of views will go even higher... When I visit Nachalat Binyamin, I prefer being there just after 10 AM when the market opens. Later there's more crowd and I find it harder to take pictures. But on the other hand, there's less interesting subjects to picture... Wishing you a wonderful (and not so rainy) week, Yair.

CIAO Galit! Yes... you should do this more often! I know that a job is frequently hard, but working near the sea and don't go frequently walking on beaches is a true crime! My compliments for you shots... all the sequence with the locuste guy is perfect and the shot with him over your jeans is simply a MASTERPIECE! Plaese enjoy your beaches more often! Have a NICE day! Hi Galit! The Sea Daffodils are awesome and I love the Yellow Buttercups too -- great pictures!! Beach scenes and flowers together with the activities of the Locust make great viewing. Well done! Thankyou for your message and concern -- it is nice to be missed. Of course I have a 3-week Back-log of albums to view, plus the Blog to read now! How do I put more hours in a day? Uploaded a new album, but Webshots will not let me make it Public (did hope things would be running smoothly now). Read yesterday that someone else had that problem, but can't find that message now. Best wishes.. Gladys.

Hi Galit, your sea daffodils are wonderful. And so is the beach!! Oh I envy you. Probably if you have some winter at all it must be very short. All that sunshine and light makes me want to travel to southern places. Love all your pictures, you are so good. Take care, Merike

Wow Galit, these pictures are gorgeous, especially the ones of the sea daffodils (what a beautiful flower!) and the locust guy, of which my favourite are nr. 17 (what a legs!) and nrs. 25 and 26. Thanks for sharing Galit and for your comment on the Raindrop Fascination album. Sorry that it took some time before I reacted, but we have been away on a short Autumn vacation. And we only returned last week. Have a lovely weekend, Els (wely246/evanwely)

Hi Galit! Loved the album! You have wonderfully captured the beautiful colors of the waves and the sand. Oh my, the Sea Daffodil, is so gorgeous! And the locust series is most impressive, esp those on your jeens - I salute you for your bravery!! I only have one complaint - More shirtless guys please! :-D Well maybe next time. It is really easy taking pictures of people in Israel. Thanks for your interest in my pending Italy albums. I've been busy with all kind of things (important and not so important - but nothing bad thanks god :-)) Actually I'm editing my Florence album and it should be ready soon, tomorrow. I did experience some problems with the software, but less than before. Happy Sukkot to you and your family! Orly

Hi Grannie, The grasshopper appears to just about have the upper scissor-legs in your photos, but just in time he disappears, quite ugly up close, aren't they? You should take a macro shot of a preying mantis and put him on a screen-that's really ugly!! Your album is quite different from your norm, but still a nice album. Nice colors of the beach and accompanying waters. Take care. Best regards from the Oregon Coast, where the waters are cold and the weather is dank, at least at this time. Ron

Hallo Galit!

I can't understand this because I made an entry in this GB two or three days ago and it aint here! Anyway, thanks a million Galit and this has been a very enjoyable experience for me, especially getting to see such a great sequence of one of your local inhabitants climbing up your jeans. Are they really as big as they look? (The locusts, NOT the jeans!! LOL) Thanks to you I now have a much clearer idea of how the Med looks and it's great. Finally, as always, I muct compliment you on the high quality of your photos and on your wonderful ability to tell an amusing story! Love and hugs, Peter

Hi Galit, thank you for your kind comment. The beach in this album is very beautiful. As you noticed I added many new Neuschwanstein castle photos, but Rothenburg and Posdam aren't new. I like histrical architecture and guess Jerusalem is fabulous. Actually I dont't know where in Israel is histrical. If I ever have a chance to visit there it is interesting to see you, but I still have a lot of places to go in Europe and my student life is over, so it's unlikely to go to Israel in the near future. Where in Israel do you live? Mitz

I'm so glad Peter asked for these photos. What a lovely day indeed. So, were you a really great friend? Since all those handsome hunks stopped to see the photo you took, a good friend would have passed out my phone number or snatched one of them and shipped him to Wyoming...ha You need to take more time off from work and go to the shore for R&R. I love this album Galit....great job of photographing the local scenery....and the locak inhabitants. Love the captions with your little bug friend...ha Much love..Lorrie
