Hello Bill! I enjoyed your album 'Monarchs, Mallards'. I wish we were lucky enough to have all the butterflys in my album in my yard unfortunately the photos were taken at the Wings of Paradise Conservatory in Cambridge Ontario. Thank you sincerely for your kind words in my guestbook for ‘Wings of Paradise 3’. Regards from Canada. Roger

Hi Bill! Thanks for the notes this a.m.! Yes, The Master of Lighting truly blessed me with the picture at Dillon Lake! I can guarantee you that I said a heartfelt, "Thank you, Jesus" when I took the shot! Also, our beautiful lupines look just like your beautiful bluebonnets. I'm not sure if they're the same thing called by different names, or just part of the same family. Either way...they're something special! I've enjoyed going through your monarch album here. When we lived in CA, I drove up to Pismo Beach where they have the annual migration of the monarchs. There were thousands and thousands of them hanging in the eucalyptus trees by the beach. What a sight!! I wanted to go back this year, but with our move to CO, that just wasn't in the cards! Thanks for sharing your pictures! Hope you're having a wonderful evening! God bless, Lynn

Hello Bill. I know you have emailed me and right now I cannot think of any of the questions you asked! lol I see that you are still quite busy at work and well as I am. I remember that you said your grandchildren's ages and wasn't it just yesterday that Zach was born? Were does the time go when we get older? lol My best friend is coming up at the end of this month. I am taking her to Crater Lake and maybe the Lava Beds NM, heat permitting that one. Then in September, we are off for Yosemite. I have not had the time this summer for any trips due to work, but have been riding and walking to keep in shape. Hope all is well with you and your family. Hugs my friend. Lynn

Hi Bill. Thank you for the wonderful comment on my Roses Close Up album. This rose garden is owned by the city of San Jose and it is free, located about 5 miles from my house. It is a great place to just wander thru after a rough day.

Did you get up to Lewisville yet? The Buffalos should have had their babies by now. We have never been to the Fort Worth trails. Will have to check that out! Deb/Texas

THANK YOU, Bill, re: my featured album yesterday. What a complete suprise it was but now my Inbox is full to overflowing (350+) just for the feature; what a dilemma! <grin> We all take photos for the love of it but a pat on the back never hurts, right? Thanks again, I appreciate your note.

Judy aka L@dybug, Florida

I popped on my walking boots and thoroughly enjoyed this walk - stunning Monarchs, wonderful reflections and then there are those mighty mallards. Thanks for yet another great collection. ((hugs)) Lorraine, Australia

Well Bill, you have me laughing! I love the captions and the images of "How Embarassing" and "Will He Ever Quit!" Sometime, just looking at an animal, you can tell what they are thinking. lol I am on the hunt for images to add to a new "Touch of Color" album, but I want to have all member entries in this one. So, I am starting with yours. If I find something, I will ask to use it. Hey, been meaning to ask, how is learning Photoshop going? Take care my friend. Lynn

Hi Bill, thanks for visiting my Pomegranates album and for your kind words in the guest book. I really enjoyed watching your beautiful pictures of the butterflies. I love butterflies but fail most of the time in taking pictures of them. You're invited to take a look at my Insects album (search for member ykarelic2) in which I have some pictures of butterflies, but they cannot be compared to the beautiful ones you have here. Take care, Yair.

Hi Bill, I love butterflies and you have a number of very good ones here. I have never enjoyed much success with them, but you seem to do alright with them. I’m thinking of getting the Nikon 60mm macro, which one do you use? And do you like it? Greetings from Florida, Paul. P.S. Thank you for your very generous comments on my "Black, White and Grays" album. These are my first black and whites (really de-saturated) with acceptable results.

Bill, Cannot believe that I am the first to send you a message. This is an excellent album. My favorite, and I downloaded them, are "Just Resting," "One of the Flock," and "Lonely?" I really like the way you captured Lonely on the leaf in the sun. It highlights him so well. I know you have a couple more albums I need to look at, so I better get moving. Your friend, Lynn, Bonanza/Oregon, USA
