    • Hi Rod, Got back here at last. Thouroughly enjoyed going through this album. All of the photos are so beautiful and some of them are just amazing. I have downloaded a few of them. To be honest I don't download many pics from here as I have my own photos on my desktop but couldn't resist a few of them. Hope you are keeping well. Will be back soon to view another album. Until then. Take care. Love Chesca xx

    • Morning Rod, I have just sat by my pc to feed my fish and thought I would check my webshots bits. This album popped up on my screen, as they do, to indicate you had added to it. I can't believe I have never seen this lovely album. There must be so many I have yet to look at. I've clicked on a couple and I'm already convinced this is another sooper dooper collection. I am going to return when I have more time to look properly and leave what I'm sure will be many comments regarding shiny water and brilliant colours. Have a good day! Love Chesca xx

    • Hi Rod! Enjoyed another of your lovely albums and these photos make me feel as though I really had a trip overseas. To mention just a few; #1 is a stunning image (but those houses couldn't be built any closer to the water)!; #2 is a real masterpiece with that Seagull enjoying the magnificent view with a border of pretty pink flowers; #13 like the pretty reflections; & #54 Sunset on Loch Lomond is absolutely gorgeous. Well done and thankyou for sharing. Thankyou also for your nice messages in my Sunrise and Sunsets g/b. Yes, that Freycinet Sunset was amazing and I was more interested in that than I was in my dinner! Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

    • Hi Chris & Rod, Thank you for your response with kind and humorous comments in my albums. Echuca is a very pretty place. The Emmylou is a lovely paddle steamer and is wonderful to cruise on her, my daughter and I had lunch on her when we were up there, the food was quite good. In regards to my "Warrnambool Trip" album, the Flagstaff Maritime Village, it is certainly an interesting place to visit, they run a sound and light show most nights and is well worth the cost, as it tells some of the history of the Ship Wreck Coast. The waterfall was a bonus as my friend and I just stumbled across it whilst out site seeing during our stay at Warrnambool. Now to my most favorite subject My four legged babies. They are totally spoiled and loved unconditionally by all who meet them. Lady is sitting looking at me as I write, I think she is saying; "When are we going for a walk?" and YES she is a real softy (A total Nut like her Mum ... ;) LOL) but a softy never the less. Kindest regards, Trish, (another Lady from "The Land Down Under" (like Susan)..)

I will never tire of that view towards the croft in Glencoe its such a magnificent place and I believe the Mountain rescue service use the building but don't quote me on that. Thank you so much for your lovely message in my GB of my Glen Etive album. My Scottish friend had told me about Glen Etive and I knew it was the kind of plcae we would love and just had to find. No facilities whatsoever mean hardly any people, we only saw a handful of cars. I was just lucky that the weather was kind for me too and my clicking finger was very busy as you can imagine.I really hope you do get to visit the west coast again next year I think I might just have to be a stowaway though ;o)Hope you are getting some of the beautiful sunshine down your way that we have today. One of the things that really stands out for me here is the way you have kept all the verticals vertical and avoided those leaning buildings that we so often see (especially in my photos) Superb work which makes it all the more pleasing that you should take the time and trouble to comment on my new albums as and when they appear. My thanks for that and for all the kind words and encouragement. Best wishes, peter

Four or five of my albums are composed entirely of scans from slides and they are not a patch on straight out digital. Sign of the times eh? • Rod, you made my early morning with your photo #52 of Haytor Rock. My maiden name was Hayter and genealogy studies urge me to visit Shaftesbury & Gillingham in Dorset county - also Haytor Rock. I want also, to go to Scotland for genealogy there. I see this GB started in '02 so maybe that explains the different quality and color saturation. As you are one of my 'Favorites' I visit often. I just cannot wait to see your Cornwall through MY eyes and camera lens. Thank you. Judy / FL

    • Hi again Rod and I simply cannot understand how I have never seen this album before today. It is just stupendous and I have made so many notes I'll just have to abbreviate them! 1) Bedruthan Steps - super shot and you just timed that spray perfectly. Is it accessible these days? I know it never used to be. 3) Boscastle - unusual to see it zoomed like that and it's very effective. 6)Fowey and once again you have picked a great vantage point. 7) Ah! Kynance Cove one of my favourite spots anywhere in this world. 12) Polzeath - where we spent our last holiday before coming out here to live in 1970. We atayed in an old stone cottage up on the cliff. We tried to get down to Port Isaac in 1997 but couldn't find anywhere to park to ended up having lunch in a place up on the top beside the main road. Porthcurno and that entire area I just love and Portloe recalls the time in 97 when we found a nice little tea rooms there - they told us they didn't often get Aussies in there! 20) Lizard Point, again from an unusual angle - most pics I have taken (and seen) have all been from up near that big house. 26 and 27) Nice to see photos of Mousehole with the tide up. The sunset at St Michael's Mount is just glorious and the photo at Buckland in the Moor is just delightful. I love all the Scottish photos, of course and it is great that you have such a lasting reminder of your ancestral roots. I have made a note to revisit this album whenever I feel the need to revive old memories! Great stuff Rod, right out of the top drawer. All best wishes, Peter

    • Hello Rod, I chanced upon your albums and was very pleased to stay and visit all of them. What wonderful photography. You are very talented and as Ken so eloquently put it, it is a gift from God. Many people can "take" pictures but fewer can have them appear appealing to others. Your lead photo jumped out. Wonderful photos one and all, I could not pick a favorite but do have a soft spot for castles and I'm of Irish descent. Thanks for sharing your wonderful talent with us all. Sharon

I'm visiting England again at Christmas, so hopefully will have new photos to add after that... You set the bar very high for the rest of us... Cheers, Stephen

    • Hello Rod, I am honored to be the first person signing your guestbook. What can I say?? This is such a beautiful album of yours, I just can't choose with picture is my favorite... they are all so beautiful and the colors.....WOW, it looks like paradise to me. You are so lucky to have seen these great vieuws. Now I am sure that one day I will visit Scotland. I think Tintagel is my favorite picture. Romantic as I am I read all kinds of books about king Arthur and ofcourse his wife Guinevere (and Lancelot). I always thought of Scotland as a romantic place to be, with very old houses, beautiful rocks and water... fresh and green, mystery woods... You made a piece of my imagination came thruth.. thanks for sharing these pictures. Bye and greetings, Diana.
