I went to Iguasu Falls back on 1995. It was just as breathtaking then as it is now. Amazing pics! You are now one of the few that will never see Niagra Falls the same again. These put those to shame.

Yair! Thanks very much for the note. I don't know if the first word that comes to mind when you see Bow Lake is "Romantic". Normally that word is reserved for tropical places with white sands, superb hotels and little hideaways. But hey, you are on Webshots, anything is possible. By the same token, the first words that come to me when I see Iguazu Falls are: Magnificent, Powerful, shear strength, rugged. I guess some people may find them "Romantic" too, especially in this place.

Hi Yair! I hope you had had a good Pessach. I loved to see this waterfalls album. I'm a "little" late, but congratulations on this feature, it was completely deserved. I guess in December, although I was already a Webshots member, I did not participate much... Now I'm addicted! Waterfalls really are a demonstration of nature's power. Hello Yair,The waterfalls are beautiful and you captured much beauty in each photo.You were saying you thought sunflowers only came in yellow,well we have a seed company here and they come in red,lime green,white,flame orange,peach,bi-colors and the flowers in the photo's were called ruby eclipse. Actually,I always thought sunflowers were only yellow untill this seed company started developing the other colors. Hi Yair, Just spent some time looking at your albums. They are terrific, but I especially love waterfalls and so I really love this album. In my guestbook, you asked where Antelope Canyon is located. It is just outside the small town of Paige in northern Arizona (north of the Grand Canyon). There are a number of "slot" canyons located in Arizona and Utah and they are all fascinating. Hi Yair! Yes, yes, yes, of course it's a good album for a feature, and I was mentioning the snail blog only as a joke. Now, regarding what I wrote in the blog yesterday: I wrote similar things before, as well as other people, in my album on "making Webshots a better place". The difference between me and most people is that most of them got tired of this earlier. I don't care if Webshots are angry with me or not. I think that their attitude is less emotional than ours. Of course I was emotional when I wrote it, but I must say that it made me feel better, and this is more important than if Webshots are angry with me or not. I think that I shouldn't take things to heart. I still hope Webshots will get better, but now I will try writing less in the blog because it seems like a waste of time. I think that if WS want to, they could be angry since long ago, and actually I don't expect to be featured at all because of this. However, yesterday they featured you, and today they feature Sharon, so maybe I'm not hopeless either, LOL. Have a nice day!! Orly

Yair, I forgot to tell you how I create the images in my "Just a Touch of Color" album. Do you have Adobe Photoshop or a software program that is similar? You select an image that you want to change, and make a top layer of the same image. The top layer you change to black and white, then erase the area that you want in color because the colored image is underneath it. It takes some time to create each image, but it is worth the effort. I hope this helps. Lynn

Hello Yair, these are really beautiful pictures of magnificent waterfalls. I very much like waterfalls too. I always find the strength and the thunder of the falling water overwhelming and majestic. I had a great time viewing all these beautiful pictures of which nrs. 4, 11, and 24 are my favorites; they are really wonderful photos.
