Album Description:
The second album with images from the field travels in Macedonia. We visited a dry valley east of Veles in Central Macedonia, where snakes were still scarce, but the adventure was there anyway. See for yourself.

G'day again Konrad - I pulled on my walking boots and have gone along with you on your walk among the abandoned buildings with donkey and herp guardians, and interesting slopes (Balkans 4). I really enjoyed your story-telling - connecting one shot to another with the dialogue really added to the experience. I've kicked back in the shade of one of your olive trees and am savouring the album. Thanks again - and I looking forward to more journeys through your eyes. Cheers, Lorraine - Australia

Hi again! Another educational and well presented group of images. I always enjoy your images of the toads and snakes you discover in your adventures. I liked the last toad you captured in this album. Very unusual. Did you rinse him off? After being under the rock he/she must have been white! Thanks for the invite Konrad! Eti

thanks for the invite. your albums are always a pleasure to view. i enjoy the adventure and the landscapes. in fact that terrain so reminds me of the southwest united states that if i didn't know better i'd swear that's where the photos were taken. very cool little creatures you stumble upon, i'm glad they stick around long enough for you to photograph them for us. take care. george-

Hello Konrad, Like your storyline, descriptions and the snakes that cross your path. How can you tell a male from a female in any snake? The scorpion, on the other hand, was too close within the picture!! Found a four inch scorpion once on a Douglas fir tree, raised my pulse rate, it did. Thanks for your invitation, appreciated. In Macedonia I visited only Skopje, and drove through the country to Greece, I wish I could have seen those wonderful places you portrayed in this album. I love deserted landscapes, pure nature, rustic and long forgotten villages... And I love Balkans! Your photos expressed the spirit of these area so well. Greetings from Belgrade, Jelena
