Hello Rod.. what a beautifull album this is and you have shown us a lovely tour here. I like the old houses but the lakes are my favorite. This is really a paradise place to be... and the pianoplayer.........WOW.. .!!! I hope you have a lot of joy with your new camera... but it is the eye of the photographer who makes a picture special. You have an eye for beauty and great composition. Thanks for sharing! Bye, Diana.

Dear Rod, I took the TRIP inside the installation which makes all photos look like posters (almost!). Very beautiful album and interesting to read all of your captions. Thank you for this small delight! Now, I have released an album, FROM BALI WITH LOVE, inside which there is a present for you - a photo dedicated to YOU, DSCF0666 ( the 41st in sequential order) with your Webshots name underneath. I hope you'll come around and have a look at it! I also released an album with Japanese dolls. They are going to be centre stage in Japan for the DOLLS'FESTIVAL on March 3rd, a very old Japanese tradition. If it looks like an attractive idea, you might find it worth taking a look. My very best to you, from Japan, Gabriela

Hi Rod! This is like a trip back through time to another era and you have captured it well, new camera and all.. The Horses are beautiful and so well "dressed" with their Brass. Lovely scenes of Thatched Cottages, the Mill, etc. all with Olde World Charm. Well done.. Thankyou for your kind words in the g/b of my Australia Day album, it was fun making the collages and of necessity I had to conserve site space. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Hi Rod, After a struggle I managed to look through this lovely album. WHAT are they doing to this site lately? Grrr! Another album stuffed full of wonderful images. The village looks well lovely so it is deffinitely on my list of places i want to get to. I always enjoy viewing your albums so much Rod. Well, its only a week till my visit to Cornwall and I am so hoping my pictures will do it justice. I will be eagerly awaiting your opinion of them. There are several places I want to get to solely because I have seen them in your albums. I'm in Dorset for the 2nd week and hope to get to some more new places. My fingers are crossed for some good weather. Hope you are having a great bank holiday Rod. Will pop by again soon. Take care until then. Love Chesca #####

Hello Rod. Cockington Village is such a charming village that it has been a joy to view this album. You have captured the character so very well. I adore all those thatched buildings. Sadly I have only been there once and that was sooo long ago that I can hardly remember it. Good excuse for another visit, eh? Thank you so much for showing such interest and all your much appreciated comments about Bryce. It is such an awesome place to visit. If you ever get the chance, do go. I can highly recommend that you will NOT be disappointed. I still have 100's more of my USA photos to sort through. It ws the trip of a lifetime. Have a good week. Jayne/West Midlands xx

Hey I'm studying at the University of Plymouth doing Building surveying. I have been given an assignment on Cockington. I was wondering if any one could help me with a couple of questions? Im supossed to study the relationships between the materials used in constructing the walls, i noticed the walls of The forge were made of a powder like substance so if anyone knows what it's made out of? Also if anyone has any information about the thatched roofs or general history behind any of these buildings: The forge, The old school, Rose cottage, landscombe cottage or weavers cottage or the Linnay building? I would really really appreciate any information anyone believes may be relavent. If they could post it here or email me with it at head_charge23@hotmail.co. uk i would be most greatfull. Thank you Chris Pierce
