Hello Shlomo, I have finally got some time to navigate over to your albums and have a peek. I envy you that you have such beautiful sunrises most mornings. I see the typical American suburban sunrise. Not very inspiring. I have never been to Israel. The company I work for has a small division in Israel. I am not familiar with Israel geography. Interesting pictures! I heard that Israel is flat. I use to work for a company from Israel that spun off of Rafta (spelling?), a company that built military planes. I know Israel is an interesting place to take pictures… I would love to go there and take some…. Most of my pictures are mostly around the USA and Canada, with some from England and Scotland Andy Bratton

If you haven't already, do visit "Sunsets in South Wales", "More sunsets in South Wales", and "Red sky in the morning......", because I think you'll enjoy them too. I certainly enjoyed my visit to your sunrise/sunset and clouds albums - your photos are magnificent. Until I joined Webshots, I never realised how different sunrises and sunsets are in different parts of the world. It was a search for pink-and-blue skies to inspire me to paint a sunset picture on my bathroom walls which showed me how few photos like that there were, and set me taking them myself to share with others. It's a joy to see your pictures with their vibrant colours, especially as they are taken in Israel - to think Jesus would have seen skies like that! No wonder God chose Israel for His chosen people! It clearly is a very beautiful place. Thank you so much for sharing these photos. I've never seen such a long guestbook in an album that hasn't yet been featured (surely it will be eventually!), so you know how much your photos are appeciated by us all. May God bless you and your family and give peace to your country; I shall think of you especially when we pray for Israel, which we often do in our church prayer meetings. Best wishes from Sue.

Dear Shlomo, Thanks for the nice comments on my skyline pic's. I just got a nikon coolpix4600 myself for Christmas and enjoying it very much. You have some really nice photo's yourself! I like the sunrises and sunsets as well as your flowers and the 7 days of creation albulm. It's so cool that you live in Israel, my wife and I attend a messianic synagogue here in Minneapolis and found out last year that my great-grandmother was jewish and came to the U.S. in the late 1800's where she met my great grandfather. Hi Shlomo, thanks for the invitation to view your pics - there are some great shots in this collection and it is clear you have a similar eye for a nice shot, including the colour variations! I sometimes use the moonlight setting on my camera to get a different effect. I also use a polarising filter for 99% of all my photos to enrich/intensify the colours - seems to work OK for me. Keep up the great work - I'll take a tour of some of your other albums soon. Cheers, Alan.
