Album Description:
This small park in Montebello, NY (lower Hudson Valley) was known as Bailey's when I was a teen. Back then there wasn't even a sign at the entrance. Now it has a fenced dog area, picnic tables, and more visitors. I hike into the woods. Nov. 25, 2005.

Lovely little park. I like what you've done here. Photos of nature are always much more appealing when left natural. Nicely done. {*: Char

Sorry it took me so long to get around to viewing this album - I'm sure you know how it is - between career and assignments, running a household and raising kids - visiting WS for the Dailys and playing a bit in the Forum is about the only relaxing free time I have! Anyway, this album is excellent!! 'Follow the Stream' is a true beauty, as is 'Entering the Pines'. I loved 'Tree Fungus' and 'Ice Fringe'. Great job on 'Truncated' and I found that large parallel branch in 'Downstream'! Try re-doing 'Light Through the Pines' and 'Leaving the Pines' - and try cropping out that lens flare on the left edge of each of them. I'm sure you will see how that slight refinement makes the rest of the image really pop and increases the focal intensity of them. Keep up your good work, and have a very Merry Christmas!! (:

Hi SJ, Thank you for your kind comments on my recently featured album. I just visited yours and I really like this one especially the sun through the Pines. I was thinking what great texture in this album. Thanks for sharing. BK Osoyoos BC Canada
