    • Dear Trudy, This is a lovely album with all the pretty little flowers that are easy to grow and last a long time. They may be small in size, but they are big in personality and radiate energy - especially the pansies, whose little faces remind me of people and whose wide variety of bright colours never fail to lift my spirits! As you say, no two are ever alike, so you cannot tire of them. I would say that they give our garden its character. We have a magnificent clematis, glorious lilies and a fiery rhododendron, but once their moments of glory have passed, there is nothing else until the following year, but the little pansies and petunias last for months and are a perpetual delight. Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful collection. Kind regards, Kathryn

    • My Dear Trudy, You have such a special skill to capture the essence of these lovely flowers! As it is my preferred colour, I have loved all the blue pansies but I must confess that the black ones are uncommon and stunning; That is an album of joy and an album of love, with affection Jacques

    • Thank you for your nice message in January when my Flowers were featured. I just enjoyed your pansy and petunia album in particular. Pansies really are my favorite flower. I noticed you make up planters too. I'm looking forward to pansy season again. I also like climbing morning glories and grew the ones in my photos. There is a secret to sprouting their seeds quickly. Put them on a moist cheap paper napkin in a sandwich ziplock bag and they sprout in a day or 2. Then I put them in dirt. I've tried other things but the napkin works best as the roots don't get stuck in the fibers and break. Actually, I sprout any number of seeds the same way. Talk to you again, Donna, NY State

    • Dear Trudy, how have you been of late? I see no new album on your site! Is it too cold to go out? Hope you both are in good health! Thank you dearly for the kind message left in our album (with the latest additions). Always paying attention, which thing puts me much to shame. How is winter over there? We had just one day of snow, now it is sunshine and blue sky, but cold.Take good care of yourselves! Best regards from Gabriela

    • Hello Trudy and I love your pansies and petunias. I'm a bit of a flower person myself but I tend to concentrate mainly on wildflowers, in season and roses. Even so it is very noticeable that your petunias and ours are virtually identical despite us being on opposite sides of the globe. I was delighted to read your comments in my featured Fabulous Beaches album this morning and thank you very much. I sincerely hope that 2006 is a great year for you with an abundance of good health and happiness. Best regards, Peter in Western Australia

    • Hi Trudy....What gorgeous pansies and petunias, so colourful. I have never seen a black pansy but it is still so beautiful. I love the white ones and they do make a nice border in a garden. My favourites are always the deep purple and mauve ones. I like the red pansies here too and especially the deep red ones. I can never tell the difference between pansies and petunias, but now seeing them together, I can. Thank you also for signing my guestbook for Christmas cards and all the other times you have signed that I did not get back to you. At times I am not on the computer for a while and then I don't reply. This is a beautiful album and thanks for sharing it. I wish you and yours a wonderful Holiday Season. I dare to say Merry Christmas because you did look at the Christmas album. Warm wishes from Canada, Barbara
