This picture you describe: River meeting with Lk. Michgan The river is near Sleeping Bear Dunes. You can see Lake Michigan in the background, with sand beach between. This is called the HOMESTEAD RESORT. I used to go to camp next door for many years. I know that view anywhere. Used to canoe my boat by that place over and over again going to the north south islands out on Lake Michigan.
