  • we spent the first 5 nights in this cottage on an 8-acre coffee farm
  • the owner grows and processes kona coffee on the farm
  • they also raise chicken, dog, cats, and cows
  • 20 chickens in total all with hard-to-remember hawaiian names, out of which only 2 are roosters
  • so lots of hens = lots of eggs = yummy breakfast food!

  • cows are apparently smart animal; they were all watching him as he picked papayas
