Well, Eti, got a kick out of meeting your friends & neigbors down there in Florida! That Jesus Christ Lizzard is amazing - I've seen it run away,I was laughing so hard I had to go change my pampers! Konrad is pretty good a knowing these critters. I'm sending him a picture of a snake I found doing laps in the pool the other day, couldn't find it on the net. . The mantis silhouette is a cool picture and so is the oleander caterpillar! We'll be waiting for acrobatics shots from your little jumping spider buddy next! As always I had a great visit. Take care, Marita

An exciting album. It has been years since I have seen a Praying Mantis. When we were kids we used to catch them. Caroline Louisiana USA.

Hello Eti, were these photos taken in Florida? If so, where did you find the Iguana – I thought they we native to Australia (or at least non-native to the US). Your macros are very well executed – how close did you have to get? My injured my knee is working again and finally we are getting back into photography. Keep in touch. EdandHelen/Albuquerque

Hi Eti! My guess is that we will eventually see a digital fantasy creation out of parts of this creature before long... Nice pictures in their own right but only you can meld them into an special award-winning production, Eti. All the best... Ken - Maryland

Hi Eti, Argh, have fun training that spider. We have hundreds round here and I'd like to train them too. To go away, Geez I've got the shivers now, I've never seen them that close up. Love the little Iguana though, he's cute. Thanks for scaring Love and Hugs Chris and Jay

Hi Eti: I have never seen such a spider. I looks like a crab! Great photo. I tried taking a few spider photos this past fall, but they were not really good. Spiders are very interesting little critters. I enjoy watching the ones who are just out side my window. I can get a first hand view with out being up close and personal. I want to wish you a Happy and Peaceful Christmas season, and a great New Year. Sandie Cananda
