I stumbled onto your page...We are also in Alaska and our son is a Sgt. at Camp Lejeune. He did 3 tours in the Sandbox. Where in Alaska are you? We are on the Peninsula.

Great photos! I love the brown bear. Even though I lived in Alaska for 6 years and never saw one untill in Skagway on my way back to the lower 48. Not that I didn't look either. Only saw one black bear in the state the whole time as well.
