    • Ciao Carolyn, many thanks for your compliments. A really nice moment here, a lot of people from everywhere, and my city really fantastic. On saturday night (white night..look at 'the city and the games'), 500.000 people in the centre of the city from the afternoon until 7 in the morning; just to be together. Unforgetable. Ciao. Mauro

    • Hello Carolyn, many thanks for your gb on my featured history album yesterday. Enjoyed this look at Silverton, we did pass through it on our breakneck tour in 04. Took a few photos & mountain tops had early snow on them, mines & fall foliage where the main objectives then. All those are on my other name ericy102 if you get chance. Eric

    • Wow Carolyn, it’s fantastic to find a Travelogue to a place (Silverton) where Helen and I just visited (via the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge RR) and to discover all the sights we missed. The cold & rain that day discouraged walking around. We ate at the “High Noon Hamburgers” restaurant since it was the closest to the train. I think Helen read about the Brown Bear Cafe, but getting there would have required a longer trek on a day suited only for polar fish. I wish you a Happy New Year and a delightful photographic future. Ed&Helen/Albuquerque
