  • Thanks Larry for your kind words. I plan to do many hikes here in Wisconsin. I plan doing at least some day hikes on the Horse Loops at Wildcat Mountain this year. They have 15 miles of horse trails in three loops. I did hike the Old Settlers Trail the first Fall I moved to Wiscomsin. Reminds me of hiking down in southern Ohio-the terrian that is with all the hills and rockoutcrops. Well look for the guy with the lime green ALPS Mountaineering tent. That's me! :)

  • How nice to see the fall colors of High Cliff. I moved to Idaho from Appleton, WI this past fall and was feeling quite homesick for deciduous trees, or trees at all for that matter! Thanks for the great pictures. They're beautiful.
