An excellent gallery of old houses. I enjoyed looking at these pictures very much. I think I've seen some of your pictures on Renderosity. I'm hammond73 on that website. Thanks again for sharing these old houses.

Thanks for visiting my album. I live close to Pt. Pleasant and had never seen the Mothman statue until the night I took those pictures. I love your "abandoned" pictures. Some of those houses make me feel homesick.

Hi Brian; You visited my ablum of "Building From The Past" on my mamaw2 website and I want to thank you for your kind comments. You have quite a collections of abandoned homes. I too have quite an interest in them because I know if they could talk they would most likely have quite a tale to tell. Yes it is sad to think that they were left to crumble. I know that most of them must have been beautiful in their day. Thanks for sharing. Sally - grannie0 and mamaw2

fine old house, shame that it isn't putting a roof over someones head.. all the more meaningful after seeing the loss in the gulf states... boy I would be wanting to buy that one... looks in wonderful shape... compared to the one I took ... the windows out the doors missing .. and the roof in a deep sag oh well maybe there wasn't any heat... thanks for the shot... enjoyed it... where was it?

Beautiful old house album! I agree with Darlene. Why were they abandoned? Why would someone replace a roof with no intentions of staying? It doesn't make scents.Have you tried to peek in the ground floor windows to take pictures of the interriors? I do, every chance I get. I will be watching for your barns. It's true that it is difficult to find abandoned farms. Take care. Leona, Calgary.

Hi Brian! What a sad pictoral of these abandoned homes. If only walls could talk..what would they say about the people that once lived there and the lives they led? Some of the homes in this album look too good to have been abandoned. Great captures and wonderful angles! Thanks for sharing with us all..take care..Darlene in Upstate NY

Hi Brian, The old places are becoming fewer and farther in between to find here too. Makes them all that much more captivating when we do come across one. You have many new photos and albums since I've last visited. I'll try to get in to see what else you've found interesting.

Hi Brian, you've got some very poignant shots in this album. I love the way you compose your photos, and deal sympathetically with the subject. Your photos make for great viewing; thanks for sharing and best wishes, Keith in Sydney.

Long time empty is a great old house. Really captures the imagination. The old farmhouse is also a nice shot. They are getting harder to find.

These are great, sometimes it's hard to understand why they are sitting empty.
