Hi Poppy. I wouldn't have minded joining you on this early morning walk. Loved everything you captured, especially the pale blue colours which are predominent in most of your pics. 'Odd one out' is a classic. Take care. Hugs, Jayne xx

a beautiful album, cannot believe it`s not populated with a few more people, however you are right, it looks a good place to recharge your batteries, and the bird life is great. Thanks for sharing. John

My dear friend Poppy (or Sussan?) Thank you so much for your more then nice comments at few of my albums. Your comments are more then I was expected, and they gave me a big joy.I have many friends in w s, and as an one how is in lern , I'm still looking for beter results all the time. I had changed my digital camera 4 times, and still can see that a better camera is not a cause for better photos. You are doing a wonderful photo work, and you are one of my influeince and inspiration. This album is very very beautiful, and I love him. RAN

Hi Poppy, good morning from England. Hope you and Brian are well, thanks for sharing this lovely bit of solitude, I don't think I've ever seen a beach so empty! What I wouldn't give to have a stroll along there, it must have been lovely! Thanks for your recent lovely comments, much appreciated, kindest regards, Andy.

Hello Poppy. I have already visited this album once but that was before we were there in person. We MUST have stopped off at Grange last Saturday morning - it's just north of Henley isn't it? I have a feeling that was about the time of the heavy shower and we were pressing on to find somewhere for lunch. Anyway, now we have been there I can appreciate this delightful album so much more. Our beaches over here in the west are very often deserted, too and many of our Webshots friends find this so hard to understand. And I can't explain it either! Is it a case of familiarity breeding contempt, or what? Many thanks for looking at my Adelaide album - we did go up Mt Lofty but it was in thick cloud and we couldn't see a thing so drove down through Belair NP which was where I got the very dark City pics. Never mind, it has whetted our appetite for another visit - $350 return each on Virgin Blue is a pretty reasonable fare I thought. Now I'll send you that URL I mentioned but will put it in a separate message so you can delete it if you wish. Once again, this has been a very enjoyable album. All best wishes, Peter

I love the solitude on a beach. There is a feeling of space and all seems to be safe and peaceful. You have captured this mood so well in this album. There is this 'world-is-yours' sort of feeling. The pelicans and the seagulls add so much to the charm. I remember once vacationing in Hawaii long ago and found a brook meandering into the ocean. My one foot was in the brook, the other in the ocean. The brook was cool, the ocean warm. I have never forgotten that sensation. Your first photo reminded me of that. Thank you so much for the warm words of appreciation in my 'Nature's Artistry' album. Really very kind of you. I am also honoured that you have added my name in the fav. list. When you have time please take a look at my newest 'Peru' album. I found the country truly colourful. Best wishes,Suresh

Hi Poppy, what a wonderful place and way for you to spend with your camera. There is nothing like a walk on a quiet beach with the pelicans. I can smell the salt air and your photography and captures took me there. I always enjoy hearing from you, and thank you for going on my recent hike through my lens. Love from Oregon USA, Linda

Hi Poppy, I enjoyed this album a lot. Love to take walks on a beach. It was great seeing free pelicans, able to fly. You are right about holding on to my camera. I made sure I did. It's very windy up there, on the roof of the car. :-)) Have a great day! Roza

Hi Poppy! This must have been a delightful walk on a beautiful morning and I enjoyed your beach and coastal scenes. Of course, Seagulls are always plentiful and the Pelican is added interest. Well done! Thankyou for your kind messages in my g/b, always appreciated. Best wishes.. Gladys, Western Australia.

Nice, nice, nice. It always amuses me when people from other countries comment on how deserted our beaches are but I guess it does seem that way at times. This is a part of SA I don't ever recall visiting so it now goes on the list for our next trip east. I have really enjoyed this album. Best wishes, Peter in Western Australia

Hi Poppy! Thanks for stopping by my "bouquets" album -- I was so excited to have some really beautiful flowers to photograph! Whenever I come back to your albums, I always have to take another look at this album. Would love to have a few hours on a beach like this one but we are a long way from an ocean. So I will have to just continue to enjoy yours. Beautiful, relaxing photos! Thanks, Jayne

Brian - I finally got a chance to visit for a moment and start with this album. What a wonderful start to my day. Sun, sea and sand - I need a good breath of fresh salt air and this is exactly what the doctor ordered. Thank you for such a superb experience. My best, Stan, California

Hi Brian, It really did look like a beautiful day for a walk alomg the ocean. The beach was pretty crowded for this time of year (with Seagulls and Pelicans anyway lol). I would think cooler weather is on the way for you. That's because it's heating up here in the western hemisphere. Great photos, lots of fun to browse through. Take care, Ray
