Morning Darlene...hope you are well! I've had a great time looking at these lovely pictures, I've got to say that butterfly is a bit odd with the different coloured wings, must be a bit of a blunder, nature wise!! I shall return soon to view another one of your excellent albums, kindest regards and hugs, Andy.

Hi Darlene! I see you have been very busy with your camera. Great butterfly photos considering how difficult it is to have these little creatures pose. Thank you sincerely for your kind words in my guestbook for ‘Wings of Paradise 3’. Regards from Canada. Roger

Just stopped in for my second visit! When I got to the end I had to leave a message on the photo, thats such a cute photo. Did you get some good looking guy to take that photo? Now that's quit a poise for just some smuck just walking by, makes me wonder? Hugs, Laura

Darlene, Loved this album especially all the butterflies. I know how hard it is to capture a good photo of a butterfly. I went to "Blooms and Butterflies" at the Franklin Park Conservatory and used up a load of film trying to get a good one! Thanks for all your visits to my albums. I really appreciate all your comments. Connie

G'day Darlene and what a truly magical album, Nature's Angels. I loved the angels caught so delicately, those fun loving butterfly babes, and the water stopped in its flow in the pound fountain - you have added a real sparkle into my evening with these shots! Thank you very sincerely too for your great comments on my featured album yesterday - Aussie Sunrises/sets and yes it was, and still is, an awesome experience and thank you for adding to it with your message. (hugs) Lorraine, Australia

A few years ago I visited my east coast childhood state of Massachusetts. My sister-in-law lived near Westford and told me about a butterfly place that my son & went to see (he'd volunteered out here at a butterfly exhibit in Santa Barbara, CA. We were very impressed with the museum (can't remember the name of it) and made sure we hit the one on the Canadian side of Niagra Falls as well. Thank you for sharing this album and telling us about the clearwing butterfly (had seen a photo of one somewhere but without a name). Looking forward to checking out your other albums. One of these days I'll have to get my east coast photos scanned and put on webshots. Right now I have my west coast photos on my bcharpen, bcharpen2, 3, and 4 sites. Looking forward to checking out the rest of your albums.

Hi Darlene! Great album!! I love butterflies, too, and at this time of year a visit to a "butterfly garden" provides so much beauty and COLOR! (Not to mention warmth! I visited our local Butterfly Pavillion a few weeks ago and found that it was a wonderful tropical get-away in this arid state!) You have done a great job in capturing the beauty & I really like the clear-winged butterfly...I have never seen one before! I hope that all is well with your son now. He's been in my thoughts and prayers. God's blessings from Colorado. Your friend, Lynn

Wow Mrs. DOD, awesome captures of these flirty fleeing figures of flying fascination and fun figurines in fantastic forms of finesse and finish!!! Ya done good girl! The visit to Magic Wings must have been fun as your elegant collection is a wonderful tour of nature's angels inside! These lovely creatures aren't easy to shoot, but you have done that Well My Friend!! Wow, never saw a clear winged beauty like that before, amazing!!! Love the "butterfly Babes" to finish this superb portfolio, but must be difficult flying with those wrought iron wings, huh!!! I appreciate your kind gbe comments recently...Have a Wonderful Week Darlene! GB, Ted

Hello Darlene, what a great butterfly album. You either have a tripod & telephoto combo or great woodland "sneaking-up" skills. Great work. Ed&Helen/Albuquerque

Hi Darlene, This is a great album. I love all of the butterflies. I had never seen a Clearwing before...it's awesome. The garden fairy is a cool pic too! But...the best is the butterfly babes at the end. Thanks for sharing. Love 'n' hugs. Donna

But also many other pics are our favorites, as: 15 African Atlas Moth, the amazing green colors in 23, delicate wings in 26, the adorable Botton Quails, the cute delicate butterfly in 31, the awesome hibiscus and the wonderful close-up of Akbar. PS Butterfly # 24 & 25 looks to me like it has had a Monarch wing glued on to repair a damaged wing. The rest of that butterfly is definately some other species.

Ooh Darlene ! I'm first ! Where IS this Sweetie ? Deerfield Mass ? I know it's cold & snowy in NY right now - I haven't been gone THAT long ! This must be totally inside. VERY pretty place ! Butterflies # 7, 14, 21 are Zebra Longwings - which I occasionally see here, they are native to Florida. Pink Poof # 19 is a Mimosa - also native here. Butterfly # 23 is a Malachite. Butterfly # 27 & 31 is a very rare Clearwing ! White Delight Flower # 16 is a Gardenia. What a fine pair you and Claudia make ! Looks like you had a great time ! Thanks for the splash of color in dreary Winter ! Love & Hugs - Pat
