It's nice to know that someone can see the beauty in a gloomy day. You help us all to see the day as it should be seen; Beautiful. Very nice photos, Darlene. Alan - CT

I also love the soft pastel colors of the landscape in the fog. Excellent pictures! The Cape peninsula is better known for the South Easter wind but every now and then we get fog but it only last for a few minutes after sunrise. Havy you seen my fog pictures? Faul.

Hi Darlene, well I am desparately trying to catch up, you may like the fog but I bet that husband of yours hates driving in it, It always give a slieghtley myddtical aura about it, owls and devils floating in and out of the mists, it turns your landscape into something that our local fens looks like when the mists and fog descend, when gouls and werewolves and vampire roam, I am getting carried away now I think some of that spirit (no pun intended)is still with me from the caberet, ha take care my friend hugs and owls Swampy Ken of the Fens

Hi Dar Thanks for the invite. Lovely and a bit eerie too. Do they still use those horse buggy things? I thought that was only in the movies, haha. Love and hugs Chris and Jay

Hi Dar! That was some fog mate. it gets that thick here some times and half the idiots still drive around with their headlights off. It's bloody scarey. Before you drive off one road onto another you say three Hail Mary's to yourself. Catch you later mate. Hugs Al.

My guess is the sound of the honkers in the fog is awesome to hear. Nature's Shroud is really a good album....not easy to get good photos in the fog, but you DID it.

Hello Darlene, once I would have though fog would spoil a day of photography, but now I see it differently. You've captured some haunting and beautiful images in this album. Thanks for sharing your talent and eye for a great shot. Cheers from Keith in Oz.

Hello again Darlene, Brrrr, it looks bone chilling to me lol. But I too love the muted colors of the winter months. I love foggy mists too. It lends a bit of mistery to your album hehe. Yep, poor excuse for a winter we have. I think our snow went south for the winter too. Maybe this weekend we'll get a bit of the white stuff. Then we can brag lol. This has truly been a mild winter. They are blaming it on global warming. Probably from up north of us hehe. Anyway, nice pics. Thanks again for sharing. Ray

Hello Darlene: I love all these shadows & fog, very mystic. If one can stand still long enough & let the eerieness penetrate it becomes a strange experience besides getting damp. Great job. Au revoir de Montreal. Lise

I missed this one yesterday, but I am glad I found it today. Fog is my favorite weather condition, and once again you have shown it extremely well here. About Middle Creek and your kind comments to me. I will be there leading a bird group around on March 11. I have seen the eagles there, but as you say they are always so far off. If you want to see them close up, take a trip to the northern Delaware River along the PA/NY border in winter. You'll typically see dozens just sitting in the trees along the river. January is the best time. Keep up the great work. I will be back. Mike

Hello Darlene. There is almost an eerie feel to these photos. I have never thought of taking photos in the fog, but now I see the results...... I especially like the shot of the 'Amish Buggy'. Our cold weather persists. This week we have had snow, frost and hail storms. Is there no end to out winter? I cannot wait for spring to arrive. Luv n'hugs, Jayne xx

G'day Darlene and what an awesome day this must have been in the fog - well apart from the cold and damp that is ;> There is a wonderful serenity in each of the photos in this collection, and mystical, mysterious air as well - my imagination was weaving all sorts of stories about these scenes. Congratulations on such great work. Thank you too for your lovely message about my Aussie Rainforests album - I truly appreciate your words. I hope your weekend is a wonderful one, ((hugs)) Lorraine, Australia

Hi Darlene - what fun this album is; fog can make photos difficult but you did a super job. I LOVE #10 w/the Amish buggy and the Snow Geese too, but all of them are great. ... Thanks for your comment in my "Doorways" album; it's been fun to see it grow. Past my bedtime - must go, hugs, Judy
