  • Hi Dar, thanks for the invite, this is marvelous, as usual I forgot to write down the numbers but the one of them all taking flight together is amazing. It's a wonder they don't knock each other out they are so close. The close ups are great too, should be a feature in this album, I think it's great. Thanks for sharing Love and Hugs Chris and Jay

  • Hi,Darlene, What a fascinating and unique album which you captured so well (not an easy task)I thoroughly enjoyed a slide show of your album and within a matter of minutes saw hundreds and hundreds of geese around me! It must have been wonderful to witness this with your own eyes! Many thanks for your entry and comments in my GB on Czech castles. It is an oldie created when most of us still had film cameras and when it was a matter of scan/crop/low resolution upload.

  • Hi Darlene! What an amazing album! I've never seen so many geese at once (and I thought we had a lot of them here!) The snow geese are beautiful! I just kept thinking that you must have had to watch where you stepped and that you needed to have a sheet of plastic over your head as you shot these pictures!!! :-) Isn't it wonderful to be able to view all the beautiful wildlife? I feel so blessed! And, as for missing the California wildflowers...well, I've already accumulated quite a few books on Colorado wildflower hikes! I can't wait for the spring/summer!!! I hope that you and your family are a;ll doing well! Hugs, Lynn

  • Thanks for the compliments on my latest album Darlene :o) The camera is new, but just an evolution of the previous one, plus the lens was not new... so no miracle :o) It just took a good deal of patience and screening (from 400+ to 40) :o) Ciao! Roberto

  • Dar, me again ... #25 is like something out of Hitchcock's The Birds ! Mind you, I remember seeing large flocks of geese at the Alabama Swamps (Seneca Indian res area in WNY) on many occasions, but something about the SIZE of this flock in this picture just freaks me out ! LOL ! I'm busy tonight catching up with my album visits, GB entries, and downloads ... This album was on my list for a re-play. Love & Hugs, Pat

  • Hi Darlene, I'm glad there are still large {gaggles}of geese anywhere in the world. I understand that back in the 18th and early 19th century in North America the sky was dark with geese migrations for days. It's a beautiful sight to both the ears and eyes to see these great birds fly the skies overhead. Wonderful photos thanks again for sharing. Bye for now, Ray

  • Dear Darlene, thank you for your comment in my GB for my "Artistic License" album but the truth of the matter is that I have only had Photoshop Elements for four days!!! ;) ... Jill was my motivator and I can't get my fill of it. (grin) ... When I saw this, your newest album, I stopped in my tracks and sent it to my friend in Wasilla, AK, who goes by the name 'Snowgoose' - she'll LOVE your photos as much or more than I did! God's creatures and 'paintings' (sunrises and sunsets) continuously amaze me. ... God bless, Judy aka L@dybug/Florida
