  • FINALLY a new album, my friend! It's a PLEASURE returning to Liguria with your shots. I especially enjoyed the series of beautiful photos of Punta Baffe beach. You have also captrued the death of the trees in a dramatic way combined with the beauty of the sea. I'm sorry about the fires. We also have this problem every year in the Carmel forest. However, I know that in the spring, places which have suffered from fires have extraordinary bloom of flowers. I hope you'll return to the same place in the spring and capture that - in a better mood! :-) TI ABBRACCIO!!! Orly

  • Ciao carissimo Ruggero!

A me mi è sembrato bellissimo. D'altro, come tutti i tuoi. Joana

  • Ruggero photography is a recording of the fact and very sadly sometimes the facts are abhorant. There is a great deal of beauty here ,the way nature is fighting back to restablish itself ,a little bush here ,a little flower there.....it will take time but Mother Nature will conquer ,she is an amazing force! So,Ruggero ,you have recorded January 06,just think in 30 years time you could be bringing your grandchildren to these sites and telling them how it was and now look at the incredible beauty and you will have it recorded by your stunning photography!I adore 'Splash' just love the play of light on the stones and sea!Gorgeous shot as are many in this album depicting a little bit of history in the making!Smile Ruggero, there is a lot of loveliness here to appreciate and thankyou for your time and skill to share these views with us all!Sending love to you all from over the oceans -Lynne

Renato.

  • Ciao Ruggero, finalmene un nuovo album. Ottimo album come sempre. Grande Ruggero. Maurizio.Italy

  • Ciao Ruggero! Although your mood was dark, your love of photography shines through in these wonderful pictures. The struggles of life and death can sometimes be cruel, but sometimes it is natures way of renewing herself! Already signs of life and new growth! Simply splendid album! • Ciao Ruggero! Finalmente! Hurray! Beth

  • Ciao Ruggero, I check daily to see if any new albums are posted & finally I am rewarded. As always I am not disappointed. I too am dark with the winterblues. Soon the seasons will change & spring will renew us all. I will escape my freezing winter to cruise the Caribbean soon, so I will be smiling for sure. Take Care & Be Happy. Love, Cathy

  • Hi Ruggero, for many of us dark moods lead to dark and morose pictures. You on the other hand managed to capture the beauty, and life of the coastal cities in your usual splendid fashion. I do hope that your mood improves, and not because it affects your photography. Be well my friend, Haig

  • Dear Ruggero, my oh my - what happened to Moneglia and when? I just had a look at the photos of Moneglia - some years ago I had the pleasure of visiting this place and I know how it looked like before. My husband and I stayed at the red house (at that time called Hotel Gabbiano) at the beach. Hope that nature recovers. Heidemarie (unicorn1712)

  • Dear Ruggero, we can't have you in a dark mood Like many in your GB before me have said nature will repair and recover what has happened but I hate the destruction as much as you do and I think I would have felt the same as you too. Rugerro you will have to tell me one day the secret of getting such blue skies apart from living in the right place that is LOL We have had enough of grey skies here this winter I think. I love the pictures of the spectacular cliffs and beautiful beaches and for me the simplicity of the picture you called splash was lovely. Take care my friend Jill

  • Hi Ruggero!!! I see that the sight has brought you low, but this is a necessary natural occurance! It has been my learning experience, that some trees actually cannot reproduce unless their seeds are exposed to the heat of a fire! If you return in one year, you will see the rebirth of this forest rising from the ashes like a Phoenix! I LOVE the splashy pictures! They are so beautiful! Also the look along the shore with the smooth rocks in the foreground. A visit with you is always a good visit. Now let us see your smile. :o)barbara

  • Ciao Ruggero! Happy to see your photography again. These are very familiar sights around me also here in Portugal. From Tomar to the eastern areas of Portugal, Leiria just nearby, even near Nazare you can find these burned places. Have taken photos too of them but looking sooo sad left them in my archieves. But already now seen places with some new life and think that later on during the coming spring try to make something nice from that new, hopefully stronger life that´s coming for sure. For you and your family all the best wishes, from Antti

I have also the dark feeling when seeing this colourful album, but we all hope for the best ... all the green colours will come back next year, and by that time, when you have the hike with the exact route and trail and similar photos, I am really imagining ... the great colour difference! Let's hope for this happening! CHEERS! Best Wishes! CS

Adesso, lo so, grazie a te.

Bravissimo! Un affettuoso abbraccio. Simona

  • Hello Ruggero! Looks like I missed this album when it first appeared as I was away at Colorado with my grandchildren. I can understand partly why your mood was dark. To see so many barren trees and, worse, many trees having been cut would produce anguish. It takes years to grow a tree and just mintes to cut it down. I don't think, perhaps, the season had any particular reason for your mood. It is just the desolateness. Whatever you may say, I truly enjoyed the album. I particularly liked 1,3,6,11,17,20,25 and 34. Each part of the world gives a new perspective. Your skills as a photographer always brings a breath of fresh air! My best wishes to your family and you. Suresh
