Hello, Penny: Congratulations on being featured! I love this estate. I used to live near SF and hadn't known of this place. And I've seen the Wedding Planner movie but will have to watch it again to look for this gorgeous estate. You've represented it well I can tell. Yesterday I went to the Huntington Botannical Gardens (the house was under construction) and spent the day, minus the daylight savings time I forgot about, taking photos. Missed the Australian gardens & Bonsai gardens so will probably have to go back. I also went on a field trip with 4th graders (I live in Santa Barbara, CA now) to see the famous Lotus Land Botannical Gardens recently and took as many as I could snap during our rush visit. I can see you love flowers and nature also. I used to live near SF, so it was good to see your albums of that area also. I invite you to visit my bcharpen site & bcharpen 1-4 as well. I think you have a very good eye, but, alas, some of the photos have been ruined by your copyright mark in the lower right hand corner. Very nice photos. I visited the Filoli estate in the 1960s. It is a beautiful place and I am glad to see that it is still being maintained as it was built. As I recall the owner was the family that owned the Matson Steamship lines. I wonder who is the current owner?

This is a wonderful album and I was enchanted with every one of these photos. Each and every photo is just breath-taking. I see that this album was featured a year and a half ago and I am only disappointed that I didn't see it sooner. Best Wishes, Marjie

The pictures taken at the Filoli mansion are wonderful. You not only captured the time of year and the beautiful spring flowers but also the love behind the flowers and mansion. The opening gates of the mansion invite the visitor in to share the secrets of both the past and present or, if you let your imagination play, of things to come!
