Very nice photos. I visited the Filoli estate in the 1960s. It is a beautiful place and I am glad to see that it is still being maintained as it was built. As I recall the owner was the family that owned the Matson Steamship lines. I wonder who is the current owner?

I think you have a very good eye, but, alas, some of the photos have been ruined by your copyright mark in the lower right hand corner. Sadly, as soon as I saw this, I had to go through the photos I had downloaded and delete the ones which I feel had been so marred. Otherwise, the are quite good. In spite of this flaw, I thank you.

Hello, Penny: Congratulations on being featured! I love this estate. I used to live near SF and hadn't known of this place. And I've seen the Wedding Planner movie but will have to watch it again to look for this gorgeous estate. You've represented it well I can tell. Yesterday I went to the Huntington Botannical Gardens (the house was under construction) and spent the day, minus the daylight savings time I forgot about, taking photos. Missed the Australian gardens & Bonsai gardens so will probably have to go back. I also went on a field trip with 4th graders (I live in Santa Barbara, CA now) to see the famous Lotus Land Botannical Gardens recently and took as many as I could snap during our rush visit. I can see you love flowers and nature also. I used to live near SF, so it was good to see your albums of that area also. I invite you to visit my bcharpen site & bcharpen 1-4 as well.
