What a wonderful album. The basket fungi is really something, almost like a geodesic dome. There are only two that we eat, the morel, a spring one, that Trevor finds, once in a while I even find some, and the hen of the woods, a fall one, a very large lettucy looking one. They are really exciting because they feed so many. Neither have poisonous look alikes. Joan

Hi Bernard, awesome collection. The old school says- boil mushrooms with onion-then if onion turns dark meaning fungi is poisonous. Difficult to answer.
